Pete's (Gambadilegno) partner in crime and girlfriend, from the Topolino comics (Mickey in Italy) mostly published in europe and sometimes south america, she's way older than Peg from Goof Troop (1994) and like pete she's looks like a big cat with some bear features.
In the older comics she's large like pete, i read some of the latest and now she's slimmer, but it's a large woman.
There's the Young Donald Duck series, but i haven't found her there or a list of issues to read, the comics i had once were mostly from the 60 - 90's and while Pete never had a continuous series of comics (like Mickey) there is a Almanac to celebrate his 80's years fo creation, maybe there is some good stories with Trudy.

Maybe Pete and Goofy are widower's, Trudy may died after PJ was born and Pistol is his surrogate daughter, that's why PJ appears in Goof Troop and Pistol not, she entered the family when he married Peg.
