Dark Nebula Cluster - "The Greasy Slit"

The space based world of the Greasy Slit is a claustrophobic, high-particulate nebula where the space is a thick, oily medium that clings to hulls and fouls sensors.

The political landscape is dominated by the collision of two cold, calculating powers: the P.A.C.T. (Pan-System Asset & Commodity Trust) and the Visumverate Counsul Ordinate. The P.A.C.T. is a corporate-horror entity that has replaced traditional governance with "Transactional Totalitarianism," viewing every star system as a stranded asset and its inhabitants as "redundant biomass" or "perpetual debtors." Opposite them is the Visumverate, an older, perhaps more manipulative hierarchy that utilizes the SOCTO ETPsyO (Extra-Temporal Psychological Operations) branch to "weave" social and strategic outcomes through the high-concept wisdom of its Consuls, though it is currently a house of cards plagued by internal persecution and "Black Book" secrets
