Visual Novel Sprite Character Generator
I'm excited to share my new LoRA trained specifically for generating visual novel style character sprites for both male and female characters.
Important Notes
This LoRA is designed only for character sprites. Do not use it for backgrounds. Use a dedicated VN-styled background LoRA
Recommended Settings
Steps: 4–12
Sampler: res_multistep (best results)
Trigger words: VNsprite, visual novel style, [detailed description in natural English], soft even studio lighting, plain white background
Quality Tips
A lot of work has been done to improve anatomy (especially hands, feet, and arms), but imperfections can still occur. For better results, I recommend:
Increasing the number of steps
Using this anatomy fix LoRA in combination
Or doing a light inpaint afterwards
NSFW Information
Female NSFW anatomy is supported and works decently for basic nudity and body display.
For more detailed and explicit female anatomy, I strongly recommend using this dedicated NSFW LoRA.
Male anatomy has not been trained and is currently not supported.
Training Information
Trained on ModelScope Civision
Dataset: 100 images
First iteration: 100% real sprites from Everlasting Summer + fan-made mods
Second iteration (current): 100% synthetic dataset generated from the first model + manual and AI corrections
User Tips – Consistent Character Creation
To create a consistent character across different poses, I highly recommend the following workflow:
First, generate the character in a neutral pose (standing relaxed, arms at sides, neutral expression, full height view).
Then use img2img with the same LoRA, keeping the full character description, but only changing the pose and expression.
Example:
Base generation (txt2img): VNsprite, visual novel style, a young woman with olive skin and a slim delicate build with small perky breasts, straight black hair in a long hime cut and dark brown eyes, wearing a traditional Japanese kimono with obi sash and geta sandals, standing relaxed with her arms on her sides, neutral facial expression, full height view, plain white background, soft even lighting
img2img (pose change): Change her pose to: VNsprite, visual novel style, a young woman with olive skin and a slim delicate build with small perky breasts, straight black hair in a long hime cut and dark brown eyes, wearing a traditional Japanese kimono with obi sash and geta sandals, both hands raised to her cheeks, eyes wide, bright happy smile with slight blush, body slightly leaned forward, full height view, plain white background, soft even lighting
This way the model keeps the character’s appearance almost perfectly consistent (~100% consistency).
