+Reduced big head/face issues
+Images have more natural, less AI high cfg/contrasting colors.
- full frontal NSFW still not good/stable (probably will fix at a later date)
NOTE: Very short prompts seem to mess up the ERNIE models, try and use longer LLM-style prompts.

Defaults to European faces most of the time instead of Asian. (or at least allows you to override Asian more consistently with prompts like "English/Swedish/European")
(but it can still help to negative prompt Asian with a CFG of 1.1-1.3)
The SeedVarianceEnhancer node can really help with image variation but does also cause image/text consistency issues at strength values above 1
+ Slightly reduces the ERNIE diagonal grid artifacts.
+ Better, cleaner images/faces.
+ Is more photorealistic.
- Doesn't always do art styles as well.
- Can make heads/faces too big.
It is a bit of a slot machine, and you have to roll a few times to get a good image, but at least it is fast.

Ernie kind of reminds me of a cross between z image turbo and flux Klein. The only concerning thing about this model is I've heard the anatomy isn't as great just like flux Klein. I think z image and Qwen are the best for that. Really great work though. Looks really good this checkpoint
ERNIE kind of reminds me of SDXL as well, it is a bit of a slot machine a often takes quite a few rolls not to get 3 arms or something, but can make some nice images.
but yeah I think Qwen 2512 models are better but do take a long time.
@J1B what is your current favourite model mine is ZIT and anima for anime Images.
@AnimaXx Probably Z-Image Base with a ZIT refiner stage for photo realistic, although it can struggle with more complex prompts. I do love Qwen 2512 models for there prompt following, but it has big same face issues.
For NSWF realistic it is very hard to beat some of the best SDXL models, just because they have had the most and best finetuning on that I think, but you need to use some sort of Hi-res fix or upscale pass and it is quite inconsistent.
Chroma does anatomy better than Zimage or Qwen. No idea why that isn't being trained more. Nothing competes with Illustrious and NOob AI though still. I've yet to make any of the new models render genitalia properly.
@DaddyWolfgang Yes I am preparing to to a Chroma training run soon. Yes my Illustrious model is definitely my most NSFW capable (maybe Pony but it looks fake)
@J1B have ever thought of doing anima if you're into anime I know it doesn't do well with realistic images but it's really good and very nsfw out the box. It's currently on preview 3 and has an official turbo Lora for fast and stable generation
I'm told it's a ton more trainable than either klein or z-image.

@J1B Looking forward to see what you can get out of Chroma. I found it very disappointing on release, but I always felt there was untapped potential in there.
"Qwen 2512 models for there prompt following" I find it hard to waste my time going back to using other stuff tbh. Given how amazing prompt adherence is in Qwen; you start to just take it for granted. It's kind of a bit painful going back to prompting using anything else after lol. As such, 2512 just monopolises much of my checkpoint use these days.
The speeds aren't an issue for me, but if the 'same face' issue was fixed (personally minor for me, as you can work around it), & you could get it full NSFW (relatively speaking it's already pretty damn uncensored); then this would be the absolute Holy Grail of checkpoints.
It'll be hilarious to see the day that finally happens; when someone releases something akin to Qwen + full NSFW (SDXL style) + Zit mainstream style hardware requirements so everyone can use it quickly. The internet will probably implode haha.

Are you still struggling? This model only pushes Caucasian face probability part way there, I am also using a negative prompt of "Asian, Chinese, Japanese, oriental" with a CFG of 1.2 and also putting something like "blonde Swedish European Woman" in the positive.
That gives Caucasian faces probably 95% of the time.

I did try and make one, in my usual way but it didn't work and ComfyUI kept crashing, I will have to ask around and see how other creators have made a FP8 version of ERNIE.
