I am happy with the finished results of this one. Please use adetailer as always. I think the eyes without it can sometimes be ok, but it is no replacement for the actual adetailer. I loved and hating making Gilgamesh. I thought my FATE work would end with Cu Chulainn. Now I still have 1 Cu Chulainn model to do, along with many more Gilgamesh models, and I want to do Muramasa at some point too. ;_;
If you enjoy my models please leave a positive review.
EDIT: Because of the site migration this model isn't showing up on either civitai.com or civitai.red. It's still janky. It's annoying because I'm going to lose out on all the people that would have seen it in the new loras page, where I get most of my views. I worked really hard on this one too. This sucks.
Progress notes
I told myself it was time to start working on female lora. I wanted to make a Sphene model since I was not happy with the quality of Sphene's on the site. However I got sucked into FATE and as my line of Cu Chulainn lora are drawing to a close I was utterly captivated by Gilgamesh. Now, after staying up all night I have 2,847 screenshots of caster Gilgamesh from Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia---to sort through, categorize, and edit. I'm starting this on April 12th. I'm off work for the next 10 days. I know I am going to fuck myself up working on this one. x_x I am using anime screenshots, official promotional art, and editing either of those to help improve the quality of my lora. It's going to be hell.
As I am still in the general dataset building phase I will go ahead and make an eye folder for this lora. I already have several images of Gilgamesh's eyes as well as other characters with red eyes in the FATE universe. I'd like to see what effect adding it to the training has.
Today is April 16th. I finished tagging 258 images in my closeup folder. Now I have 457 to tag in the eupper body folder. Already I can tell his headpiece is going to give me trouble. It's not a turban. Watch me end up tagging it as turban if white_headband doesn't work. Turbans cover the whole head. His is just a braided cloth that surrounds his head but you can still see the crown of his hair from above.
Today is April 18th. I truly hate myself. I'm editing more full body photos, and I'm attempting to get his stage 3 form that we see at the end of the Babylonia series. Fuck. I just now I'm going to do his FGO enchantment outfit that is an alternate to his caster. AHHHHH! Very nervous about the establishment attire. It is his caster form. However I believe the necklace is different. so I'm not looking forward to seeing it try and learn two different necklaces. Come to think of it...his stage 3 is also a different necklace. The establishment outfit is seen in the carnival anime, however he doesn't have checkered sleeves compared to his fgo version either.
I will end up moving establishment to its own lora. It doesn't appear in the Babylonia anime. My concern with it is his hair. In Babylonia for both his caster default and stage 3 ascencion his hair has a prominent strand that points towards the left. in the official art for his establishment outfit however it points to the right. I don't want to confuse the model on top of teaching it 3 different outfits with 3 different gold necklaces and sets of jewelry.
Test 1 - Earrings failed to generate properly in full body. Retesting.
Test 2 - I needed to add more earrings to full body set. Redoing.
Test 3 - It's better but the red_trim on his top isn't showing correctly. its supposed to only show up on the outside but the model is reading it on the inside. I need to fix tags to help it learn it appropriately.
I don't know what test I'm on at this point. I thought it was minor issues but it's not. I'm currently fixing the tattoo. Just editing it out in images where the full shape isn't really shown. I still need to improve the earrings. I will do more upper body photos with earrings to help. I also separated earrings and tattoo into their own folder so hopefully help.
