The eponymous Speed Racer's girlfriend, Trixie also serves as Speed's spotter via helicopter during his dangerous cross-country races, and occasionally proves her adeptness in handling thugs in hand-to-hand scraps. She also served as a lot of old-timers' first anime crush before any of us knew what anime or "japanimation" was.
