These are the Controlnet models used for the HandRefiner function described here: https://github.com/wenquanlu/HandRefiner/. Implementations for both Automatic1111 and ComfyUI exist, via this extension https://github.com/Mikubill/sd-webui-controlnet and this node suite https://github.com/Fannovel16/comfyui_controlnet_aux.
Attention: please rename hrnetv2_w64_imagenet_pretrained.pt back to *.pth after downloading.

Thank you. I've installed the extension in a1111 but I don't know how to use it . Is there any quick guide?
I 2nd this inquiry, and I installed it the way it was recommended on GitHub. Would be nice if this was an ADetailer model to improve the hands.
put your image with cursed hand(s) into img2img, set controlnet preprocessor to "depth_hand_refiner" and model to "control_sd15_inpaint_depth_fp16", set everything else to your liking and fire away.

how can i use this? why there are two files?
it's three even. if i understood it correctly, it's a model for hand detection, a model to reconstruct the hand into a proper shape and a model to specifically inpaint the hand into its corrected form
