When you apply loras to a model you're actually patching the model. Simply saving the patched version is how you effectively apply loras permanently to a base model.

Then use a lora for that

A checkpoint needs to be popular to be able to be run onsite. This is because checkpoint files are too big, requiring computational resources.

Only 200 checkpoints are allowed to be active at a time including versions/variations of each checkpoint, so with 1000s of users looking to maintain their favorites a lot of them don't last. Two weeks ago it didn't get enough buzz, but last auction KiwiMix won 165th place with 8000 total buzz,
