Her skin has turned a pristine, porcelain white that practically radiates light, matched by a pair of sweeping, feathered angel wings folded elegantly behind her chair. Suspended just above her head is a soft, self-sustaining halo of pure, golden luminescence. But there is no peace in this room—only a profound, tragic weight. Angelica was the city's ultimate savior, a tireless volunteer who practically killed herself trying to carry everyone else's sins and suffering on her shoulders. She wanted to be perfect; she wanted to be everyone's saving grace. The force took that crushing martyr complex and made it physical. It gave her the wings to bear the world's weight and a halo to mark her sacrifice, trapping her forever in the agonizing, unreachable standard of a saint.
