What is the FILM GRAIN Model?
The FILM GRAIN model is a next-generation hybrid checkpoint developed on top of the Flux architecture. It was engineered to definitively break the barrier of the polished, overly digital look typically produced by generative artificial intelligence (the AI look). It seamlessly unites the most advanced anatomical precision on the market with the raw texture and organic imperfections of analog chemical photography.
Rather than a simple overlay of uniform noise, FILM GRAIN reconstructs the latent diffusion process so that the grain structure and high-frequency dermal textures are generated natively and indissociably. This transforms every rendering into a raw, tactile photographic capture reminiscent of medium or large-format film.
Fusion Architecture & Weight Engineering
This model was constructed through a complex network merging and calibration process, combining three fundamental pillars of the Flux Dev base:
Base Biological Engine (HUMAN — Flux Dev): Utilizes the HUMAN checkpoint as its structural foundation, inheriting its specialized calibration for bone mapping, muscle placement, natural asymmetry, and advanced optical physics for human tissue and eyes.
The Micro-Texture Chisel (4-LoRA Merge): Integrates 4 specialized LoRA modules distributed across a scaling dimensionality from Rank 2 to Rank 128. The low-rank modules control the overall atmosphere and light interaction, while the high-rank layers (up to 128) inject the high-frequency micro-data necessary to lock in genuine pore structures and silver halide grain definitions within the dermis.
Contrast and Convergence Velocity Injection (30% Flux Schnell): A direct 30% merge of the Flux Schnell base. This layer aggressively cleans up diffusion artifacts, accelerates step convergence, and infuses a stark "reality shock" into the scene's contrast and exposure latitude—delivering rich, deep blacks and sharp shadows native to physical camera sensors.

Avoid redundant buzzwords: Do not bloat your prompts with generic tags like "hyperrealistic", "4k", "8k", or "photorealistic".
Focus on environmental composition: Simply describe your subject (phenotype, expression, clothing), the location, and specific lighting conditions (e.g., golden hour rim lighting, studio softbox setup, low-key street photography). FILM GRAIN will autonomously calculate the appropriate skin texture scale, optical lens behavior, and dynamic grain structure required for that specific mood.
