In the Xenoblade Genesis announcement trailer, the school shown is Leukos, an academy where newly appointed Vesselai train to master the use of Anima — the life force of the world — and learn to protect the defenseless while being prepared to fight if necessary.

Leukos appears in the trailer as a central setting, with scenes of students, including a pink-haired girl with elfin ears, receiving an Anima crystone. This crystal amplifies a Vesselai’s powers and records their thoughts and actions, meaning every aspect of life at Leukos — academic and otherwise — is tied to the stone
