It's peculiar to me that people still get upset over Miles Morales is called spiderman, in addition to peter parker.

I get that it's because they're racist and don't want black people to have characters, but like, literal Stan Lee said how Spiderman was fully covered (by accident in design) but was a beautiful thing, because it meant any kid, red, blue, white or black, any race could see themselves as spiderman, as their favorite hero.

Spiderman isn't even just -peter-, does anyone even know about the marvel multi-verse? Even DC is in a multiverse, DC hasn't even been on earth zero for like, decades from what I recall, they're on like, earth hundred and five or something, don't quote me on that, but that's sort of how it goes. (Edited - I guess they're on Earth Prime now, not sure how that works or what that means).

Spiderman has always had a lot of spidermen, and spiderwomen, like going back to that crazy nonsense with madam web in like the 90's where they had spiderman going through the weird mutliverse and correcting issues that caused other issues in some sort of weird 'everything is related to spiders' crazy bullshit that I can't remember well but thought was completely skibidi toilet.

Miles is way newer than all of that, so I genuinely don't get the outrage. Do people forget japanese spiderman from like, the 70-80's? Yeah, there's literally an old japanese spiderman, it was a live action show and it's really funny. Go watch it.

Being upset over black people being media is just, well, I'll seek you out on the battlefield you know, Confederate scum, and I'll hold your head in the sky as your body lays limp on the floor.
