🎨 Frank Frazetta Style LoRA - Master of Fantasy & Pulp Illustration

Welcome to the first iteration of the Frank Frazetta Style LoRA! This model is designed to capture the raw, primal energy, masterful chiaroscuro, and iconic aesthetic of the legendary fantasy and pulp artist.

Whether you want to generate hyper-muscular barbarians, terrifying gothic monsters, or classic sci-fi adventures, this LoRA will infuse your generations with the unmistakable spirit of classic pulp illustration.

️ About the Artist: Frank Frazetta

Frank Frazetta (1928–2010) was an American artist and comic book creator, widely regarded as the godfather of modern fantasy art. He is best known for his iconic illustrations of Conan the Barbarian, Tarzan, Vampirella, and his legendary original character, the Death Dealer.

Frazetta's style revolutionized the industry. He moved away from stiff, posed illustrations and brought raw, dynamic motion, hyper-masculinity, and intense sensuality to his work. His mastery of chiaroscuro (deep, dramatic shadows and stark highlights), expressive brushwork, and earthy, atmospheric color palettes set the gold standard for fantasy and horror art.

    ✨ What this LoRA does:

    • Iconic Archetypes: Perfectly generates barbarians, warriors, amazons, vampires, and pulp heroes.

    • Masterful Lighting: Enforces dramatic chiaroscuro, rim lighting, and moody atmospheric shadows.

    • Expressive Textures: Simulates traditional oil/acrylic painterly brushstrokes and canvas textures.

    • Classic Color Palettes: Utilizes earthy tones, deep reds, sickly greens (for horror), and warm skin highlights.

    • Dynamic Composition: Encourages action-oriented, foreshortened, and heroic poses.

This LoRA has been heavily tested and optimized for KREA2 Turbo workflows, but works on other bases as well.

    For KREA2 Turbo (Optimal):

    • LoRA Weight: 0.8 to 1.0

    • Steps: 8

    • Sampler: Euler a

    • CFG Scale: 1 (Yes, 1 works best for Turbo!)

    • Enhancer: Krea2 Enhancer at 0.5 strength recommended for extra crispness.

    For Standard/SDXL Models:

    • Steps: 25 - 30

    • CFG Scale: 5 - 7

    • Sampler: DPM++ 2M Karras or Euler a

    Prompt Examples

    Example 1: The Death Dealer

The Death Dealer, skull-helmed barbarian, riding a massive black warhorse rearing up on its hind legs, wielding a glowing broadsword, charging through a battlefield of fallen warriors, swirling dust and dark stormy sky, intense dramatic lighting from a lightning strike, deep shadows and stark highlights, raw power and momentum, fantasy painting in the style of Frank Frazetta.

    Example 2: Gothic Horror

Terrifying vampire lord with glowing red eyes, pale muscular physique, rising from a gothic crypt, wearing tattered dark robes and heavy chains, a beautiful terrified woman in a flowing white gown cowering in the foreground, deep shadows and stark moonlight, gothic horror atmosphere, rich dark reds and blacks, masterful chiaroscuro, fantasy painting in the style of Frank Frazetta.

    Example 3: Jungle Adventure

Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle, incredibly muscular and athletic physique, wearing a simple leather loincloth, swinging dynamically on a thick jungle vine, roaring fiercely, giant leopard leaping below him, lush dense African rainforest, dramatic dappled sunlight piercing the canopy, earthy greens and browns, dynamic foreshortening, classic pulp illustration in the style of Frank Frazetta.

🚧 Version Note & Future Updates

This is the very first iteration (v1.0) of this model. Because the training dataset includes original scans of Frazetta's published works, you may occasionally see artifacts resembling the artist's signature or watermarks in the generated images. In the next iteration, when I have the time, I will thoroughly clean the training dataset and remove all author signatures to ensure completely clean outputs.

Stay tuned for v1.1! If you enjoy this LoRA, please leave a rating and share your creations in the comments. Happy generating! ️

It's nice, just wish you had removed the signatures on the training images

    Next iteration, very large dataset

I use Qwen-Image-Edit to remove signatures on data sets - works great especially with FireRed1 model. I made custom nodes for comfyui that uses the official difusers pipeline and patches it so that you can edit images up to 17mp. It doesn't shift the image or mess up stuff either. Honestly Qwen-Image and Qwen-Image edit are truly amazing, still my favorite, but maybe a bit less capable for some subject matter.
