A clean and modular ComfyUI workflow built specifically for Illustrious checkpoints.

It combines flexible prompting, native high-resolution generation, optional detail correction and a dedicated Illustration Finish Pass in one structured workflow.

Dual Prompt System

Simple Mode

Use one unified master prompt for fast and easy generation.

Advanced Mode

Use separate prompt boxes for:

• Quality & Style

• Main Character / Scene

• Background / Lighting

The Advanced prompts are automatically combined before generation.

Main Generation

The workflow uses a two-stage structure:

Base Generation

• 28 steps

• CFG 5.5

• DPM++ 2M

• Karras

HiRes Detail Pass

• 20 steps

• CFG 4.5

• Denoise 0.28

The HiRes stage improves small details, line clarity, facial readability and overall polish.

Optional Detailers

The Face, Hand and specialized detailers are placed in separate groups and can be enabled independently.

Each module includes its own prompts, detector and review preview.

Enable only the detailers required for the current image.

Illustration Finish Pass

A subtle low-denoise final stage designed to refine:

• lineart

• colors

• cel shading

• small artifacts

• overall visual consistency

Recommended range:

• 12–16 steps

• CFG 3.8–4.2

• Denoise 0.12–0.18

Standalone Image-to-Image

The workflow also includes a fully separate Img2Img branch with:

• two sampling stages

• separate prompts

• optional upscale pass

• optional Face Detailer

• optional SeedVR2

Important Notes

• Use Illustrious-compatible checkpoints and LoRAs.

• Check the model page for the correct CLIP skip.

• Optional modules should only be enabled when needed.

• SeedVR2 can require significant VRAM and processing time.

• Detector filenames may differ between installations.
