# LooseBrush SketchPaint v2 — Illustrious style LoRA
An upgraded version of LooseBrush SketchPaint.
Stronger focus on loose brushwork, rough sketch edges, and a semi-finished concept-art / speedpaint atmosphere.
What it does
Applies a painterly sketch style with visible strokes, soft block shading, and intentionally unfinished edges.
Style LoRA — not locked to a specific character.
Improvements over v1
- More consistent brushstroke texture
- Better balance between sketch lines and color blocks
- Cleaner identity separation (style-first, character-second)
Best for
- Character concept sketches
- Digital speedpaint / rough illustration
- Semi-finished painterly looks on Illustrious
How to use
- Base model: Illustrious / Illustrious merges
- Trigger word: lbskpv2
- Strength: 0.65–1.0 (start at 0.8)
- Keep prompts light; avoid heavy clean-lineart tags if you want the brushy look
Not recommended for
- Clean cel-shaded anime
- Hard polished finishes
- Photorealism
- Exact character likeness (use a character LoRA for that)
Tips
- Put lbskpv2 near the front of the prompt.
- Works well with simple backgrounds and soft lighting.
