A character LoRA for Ifrit's named form Charys

Every preview image on this page has its full ComfyUI workflow embedded — drag any of them onto your ComfyUI canvas and the graph loads. They also carry standard A1111 generation data, so "Copy generation data" works too.

    Who she is

Ifrit, the Flame Giant, is a high-ranking fire spirit — a Greater Spirit of Flame — and it was originally enslaved by the Demon Lord Leon Cromwell.

Leon summoned Shizue Izawa out of the Tokyo firebombing of 1945. She arrived badly burned, and to keep her alive he bound Ifrit into her body. That union saved her and gave her the flame powers that earned her the name Conqueror of Flames — but it also put a hostile spirit inside her. She was never fully taken: at the moment of possession she manifested the Unique Skill Degenerate, which stopped Ifrit from claiming her outright, and she spent the rest of her life holding its will down. The Masked Hero's Anti-Magic Mask suppressed the spirit and sealed it within her.

The figure this LoRA renders is what surfaces when that seal fails — Ifrit wearing Shizue's body: crimson hair, dark skin, golden eyes on black sclera, and the horned gold helm. That is why the design reads as a woman while the spirit itself is not one. The mask is not decoration; it is the seal.

Ifrit's story ends quietly. Rimuru used Predator to absorb it outright, and Shizue asked to be absorbed as well. The spirit is still in there — contained rather than used, passing the time playing shogi with Veldora and editorialising about Rimuru's day.

What is canon here, and what is not

Everything above is canon. Charys is not. She is an original evolved form: the same spirit, freed and grown into its own body rather than borrowing one, and carrying wind alongside fire — canon Ifrit is flame only. Use the LoRA for straight Ifrit and it behaves; the wind, the flight and the name are the parts you are opting into.

    Trigger words

    • ifrit — the character — hair, skin, eyes, facial markings, headpiece

    • ifrit outfit — her canon outfit. Drop it and prompt any other clothing.

The trigger is ifrit, not charys — that is what was baked in at training time, and it is kept as-is so existing prompts don't break.

    • Base: Illustrious. Trained on illustriousXL_v01, but generate on a finetune, not the raw base (see Notes).

    • Tested good: illustriousXL MMMix v8.0 (best), illustrij v1.8 (warmer), waiNSFWIllustrious v15.0

    • Weight: 0.80 — drop to 0.72 when stacking a second character LoRA

    • CFG 4.0 · Steps 30 · Sampler DPM++ 2M Karras · Clip skip 2

    Prompt template

    ifrit, 1girl, solo,
    (single ornate gold helm headpiece:1.35),
(one-piece gold mask crown covering her brow and cheekbones:1.3),
(large purple gem centred above her eyes:1.3),
(pointed gold flares at the temples:1.2),
    (eyes visible through the cutouts:1.15),
(black curved horns:1.2), pointy ears, gold hoop earrings,
(golden yellow eyes:1.35), (black sclera:1.3), colored sclera,
(slit pupils:1.15), (red facial markings under the eyes:1.15),
(crimson red hair:1.2), (very long red hair:1.1), dark skin,
(gold choker with a purple gem:1.2), gold arm bracers,
    ifrit outfit,
anime screencap, official art style, (flat color:1.25), (cel shading:1.2), best quality

    Her outfit, spelled out

Use this instead of ifrit outfit when you want the design exactly right.

((white asymmetric halter top:1.45)), (pure white cloth top:1.3),
(white fabric over one breast:1.25), underboob, (dark under-layer:1.1),
(light purple loincloth panels:1.5), (lavender draped skirt panels front and back:1.45),
(purple panels contrasting against the white top:1.35),
(long narrow soft purple cloth panels to mid-calf:1.25), (split skirt, bare legs:1.2),
(gold belt set with large white oval gems:1.35),
(large curved gold hip ornaments:1.3), (gold hip guards on the belt:1.2),
gold arm bracers, (dark sleeve on one arm:1.1), (thin dark thigh strap:1.15),
    (barefoot:1.2), (gold anklet bands:1.25), (bare midriff:1.2), (toned abs:1.15)

    Tail — optional, and non-canon

The tail belongs to the Charys evolution, not to Ifrit, so it is deliberately not baked into the identity block:

with tail: (tail:1.3), (long smooth tail curving behind her:1.2),
(tail tapering evenly to a point:1.25), (plain tail tip:1.15)
+ negative: (barbed tail, spade tail, arrowhead tail, devil tail, spiked tail,
tail tuft, forked tail, ornament on the tail tip:1.45)

without tail: put (tail, long tail, animal tail:1.4) in the negative

Left alone the model gives her a devil-style spade tip — negate it. Do not ask for a thick tail; body-part adjectives spill onto the whole figure and thicken her build.

    Suggested negative

(circlet, tiara, headband, two separate crowns, crown floating above her head:1.4),
(no crown, bare forehead, hair covering the crown:1.35),
(crown covering her eyes, blindfold, visor over eyes:1.35),
(pale skin, light skin:1.3), (blonde hair, blue hair, black hair:1.3),
(gold top, gold bra, yellow top, metallic top:1.5),
(white skirt, white panels, white loincloth:1.45),
(magenta skirt, dark purple skirt, blue skirt, wrap skirt, pleated skirt:1.4)

Notes that will save you time

The helm is ONE piece. A single gold mask-crown wrapping from the crown of her head down over brow and cheekbones, gem centred above the eyes. Describing it as two items — a circlet plus a tiara — makes the model split it apart and largely cancels the character's identity. Always describe it as one object.

Train on base, generate on a finetune. The raw illustriousXL_v01 is the right training base for compatibility but a poor generation model — it renders flat neon. The newer official bases are no better: XL 1.1 goes neon, XL 2.0-stable gives green skin. Community finetunes handle her properly.

CFG is the saturation lever. At cfg 7 everything is blown out. cfg 4.0 gives the anime-screencap look. Do not fix saturation with muted colors / pastel palette — those recolour her hair pink. Clamp both directions in the negative instead: oversaturated, high contrast, hdr, washed out, desaturated.

Fire is easy, wind is not. Fire renders on request. Wind renders as nothing unless you give it something visible to carry it — swirling air currents, streaming hair and cloth, petals and debris caught in the gusts.

Her white top and purple panels fight each other. The gold hardware nearby drags the top gold; strengthening the top then drags the panels white. Both need naming in the negative, plus the explicit contrast line in the outfit block.

Two wordings to avoid — each produces a specific, repeatable artifact:

    • blade-shaped hip plates → puts literal swords in her hands. Say "curved gold hip ornaments".

    • gold side pieces framing her facedecorative picture-frame borders around the whole image. "Framing" is the culprit.

Pairing her with Veldora is thematically right — the two of them are stuck in the same stomach — but it is hard in practice. A single conditioning applies its weights to the whole image, so male body terms bleed onto her, and removing them makes his LoRA render female. Regional conditioning is the fix.

    Training

    kohya sd-scripts, sdxl_train_network · network dim 32 / alpha 16 · AdamW8bit, cosine · unet 1e-4, TE 5e-5 · min_snr_gamma 5, noise_offset 0.0357 · clip skip 2 · 1650 steps, epoch 6 shipped.

Dataset: curated frames from source footage, cropped to the character and filtered for neutral lighting — the source has a heavily orange-cast sunset block that would otherwise bake a tint into the weights.

    Description

Epoch 6 of the run — later epochs over-baked.

Trained on illustriousXL_v01 for compatibility, but generate on a community finetune, not the raw base. The raw base renders flat neon; XL 1.1 goes neon and XL 2.0-stable gives green skin. Tested best on illustriousXL MMMix v8.0, with illustrij v1.8 (warmer) and waiNSFWIllustrious v15.0 also good.

    Weight 0.80 · CFG 4.0 · 30 steps · DPM++ 2M Karras · clip skip 2. Drop to 0.72 when stacking a second character LoRA.

Triggers: ifrit for the character, ifrit outfit for her outfit. Drop the second one and prompt any other clothing.
