The grey aliens from Stargate SG-1 — and, since v4, a good deal more than that: their ships, their rooms, their consoles and crystals, the armoured Vanir from Atlantis, and the ancestor found in stasis.

    What it covers

The beings. Asgard at any distance — the dome skull, the black almond eyes, the slender torso and long thin limbs, and the head-to-body ratio the base model gets wrong. Close-ups hold. This is the main reason the LoRA exists: without it an Asgard face falls apart at close range and you have to keep them small, distant or in silhouette.

The Vanir. Two looks, both trained: the armoured suit with the lamp-lit helmet, and an Asgard carrying the head and chest pieces without the suit.

Their places. Corridors, laboratories, halls, the high council chamber, a ship bridge, an airlock, the city seen from above and from among its buildings.

Their things. Consoles, control stones, control crystals, the computer core, wall monitors, stasis cylinders, regeneration pods, the transport beam, Norse runes, and Thor's Hammer on its rock ledge.

Their ships. Three named classes — Bilskirnir, O'Neill, and the small science vessel — each callable by name.

    Quick start

asgard is the main trigger. Put it in every prompt that has a being in frame. Strength 1.0, with one exception: asgard ancestor wants 0.7. That is not a prompt problem, it is the dial — at full strength the 286 asgard images outvote the 13 ancestor ones and pull him back to an ordinary Asgard.

The other 24 trigger words are motifs, not modifiers. They work on their own; you only need asgard when a being is in the frame. Every one of them is listed because it was tested and held.

Base model: Krea 2 — trained on Raw, generated on Turbo. Both bf16 and fp8 are attached; they produce the same images, so take fp8 if you want half the download.

What it does well, and what it will not do

Composition stays free. A wide shot stays a wide shot, and the LoRA does not drag everything toward a portrait. Foreign settings and styles come through cleanly — beach, kitchen, oil painting, black and white, a dancing pose all worked on the first try.

Three things it cannot do, each tested until it was clear rather than assumed:

A shield wrapped around a whole ship — seven wordings, none carried. Two different ship classes in one frame — four attempts, always a hybrid. Damage or destruction of any kind — the vocabulary simply is not there.

One habit worth knowing: light your interiors. Say bright interior light or the model pulls indoor scenes toward the dark.

    Where the detail is

The full prompting guide sits in the v4 version notes below — every trigger word with its exact wording, the phrasings that work and the ones that quietly fail, and the reasoning behind each. It is long because it is measured rather than guessed: 413 generated images rated by eye, one at a time.

An INSTRUCTIONS.txt is attached as well. It is Markdown despite the extension — rename it to .md and hand it to an LLM, and it will write prompts for this LoRA that work.

    Versions

v4 is the current one. A rebuild, not a touch-up: 344 captioned images instead of 68, and the coverage above instead of the beings alone.

v1 stays up for reproducibility only. If you made images with it and want them back exactly, use v1. For anything new, take v4.

    Description

Main trigger: asgard — put it in every prompt for the beings themselves.

Strength 1.0 — with one exception: asgard ancestor wants 0.7 (see below).

The other 24 trigger words are motifs you can call by name. Rooms, props, ships, the Vanir suit, the ancestor — each is listed because it was tested and holds. They work on their own; you only need asgard when a being is in the frame. The exact wording that scored best is in the sections below — several of them need the full description, not just the name.

Base model: Krea 2 · trained on Raw, generated on Turbo

A rebuild, not a touch-up. v1 was trained on 68 stills and could do the beings. This one runs on 344 captioned images and adds their ships, rooms, props, the armoured Vanir from Atlantis, and the ancestor.

I generated 655 images with it and rated every one by eye, in three rounds. Everything below is measured. The last round went through the training set systematically and prompted every motif that had never been tested — which turned up two dozen abilities I did not know were in there, and dissolved two limits I had already written down as permanent.

Image counts turned out to be a poor predictor in both directions, so I stopped quoting them. A concept with four training images renders perfectly; one with thirteen failed until I changed how I prompted it.

    🧬 THE BEINGS

Dome skull, black almond eyes, thin grey limbs, correct head-to-body ratio — the thing the base model gets wrong. Close-ups hold, which is the main reason this LoRA exists.

    Gaze and posture are steerable:

looking up / to the left / to the right / down / off camera / facing the camera

standing, lying, sitting, seated, walking, seen from behind, arms at its sides

asgard, with half closed eyes looking to the right, sitting in an asgard command chair

three asgard, standing close together, two of them blurred, dim cool lighting

asgard lying on its back with eyes closed, a copper coloured support under its head

asgard wearing an oval pendant, looking downward, in an asgard command chair

    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🛡️ THE VANIR — two looks, both trained

The Lost Tribe from Atlantis appears two ways in the training set, and both hold.

1 · With head and chest ornaments — an Asgard, not a suit. Name head and chest together, or you get only the one you named, and keep the word golden:

asgard with a small golden device with blue indicator lights on the upper right of its chest and a small gold ornament on its head above the left eye, facing the camera

2 · In the battle suit — this is what vanir armoured suit calls up:

a figure in a vanir armoured suit, the helmet with two lit headlamps, seen from the right

three figures in vanir armoured suits, helmets with lit headlamps, facing the camera side by side

Every piece of the suit works as its own close-up:

the helmet of a vanir armoured suit, lit headlamps, the neck and the top of the left shoulder in frame, a blurred blue interior behind, close-up shot

…likewise: the chest and shoulders · the belly · the hips and thighs · the right arm · the left arm · either forearm and gauntlet · the lower legs and boots in mid stride

    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

    🏛️ ROOMS

a long asgard corridor with curved white ribs and dark red walls, a bright opening at the far end, a polished floor reflecting the lights, dark interior

an empty asgard corridor, blue light strips in the walls

a junction of two asgard corridors, curved white ribs

a long asgard corridor with an arched window at the side showing a starfield

a wide closed door at the far end, a pattern across the door

an asgard laboratory · an asgard hall · an asgard spaceship bridge, dark interior

    an underground asgard labyrinth

four asgard seated in asgard command chairs on a high stone gallery looking down, in the asgard high council chamber, three empty asgard command chairs beside them, a dark domed hall with curved ribs running down from the apex, low camera angle, dark room

Outdoors works too — forest, mountains, valleys, daylight.

    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

    🔷 PROPS, UP CLOSE

asgard control crystals, clear arch-shaped plates etched with fine circuit lines, standing upright in rows in slots on a dark base, glowing ice blue

clear crystal rods of an asgard computer core, slender and upright with glowing round tips

a pale crystalline panel, branching frost-like patterns across its surface, a vertical strip of round studs down the middle

an asgard control stone, a smooth pearl-white oval with gold norse runes around its rim

a single empty asgard stasis cylinder standing upright in a dark chamber

a closed asgard airlock, a dark oval hatch set into a pale tiled wall lit blue

an asgard transport beam among tall trees, morning fog

glowing gold norse runes on a dark asgard wall panel, dim interior

the asgard obelisk known as thor's hammer, standing on a rock ledge

    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🚀 SHIPS — one per image

    a bilskirnir-class spaceship

an oneill-class spaceship in orbit, starfield

an asgard science spaceship in open space, a violet nebula behind

cone-shaped and sickle-shaped asgard ships in the sky above the asgard city, daylight

As a studio model: a bilskirnir-class spaceship seen close, partly out of frame, the angular prow, a scale model, plain white background, studio prop photograph

    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

    🎨 IT IS NOT OVERFITTED

Hawaiian shirt on a beach, a tuxedo, cooking in a modern kitchen, a city street, dancing, pencil sketch — none of those words appear anywhere in the training captions, and all of them come through. Six images in this gallery are exactly that test.

    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

📏 THE RULE THAT MATTERS MOST

Give the whole description, not the first half.

Every concept has one training caption that describes it fully. Prompt a short version and you get a fragment. This cost me more failed images than anything else — five motifs I had written off as weak turned out fine the moment I wrote out the full description. The average went from 2.6 to 4.7 out of 5 on the same subjects.

Stasis cylindergreen fluid behind curved glass, pale streaks of reflection across the curved glass, on a raised stand, a copper coloured yoke mounted above the cylinder

Wall monitorshowing a pale blue wireframe schematic, an oval frame with norse runes along its edge, an asgard console in front of it with seven asgard control stones on two lit panels

Leave the console out and you get an ordinary desktop PC with a mouse.

Computer core — needs all three parts in one prompt: crystal rods, control panel, wall display. Any single part alone does not read as the core.

The city from abovefilling a wide valley between pale rock cliffs, slender masts topped with flat discs rising among the buildings, a taut cable running across the city, a tall slender spire on the right slope, forested mountains behind

Do NOT add glowing rings or ships in the sky — both pull in wrong shapes.

The city from insideseen from among its buildings, a tall mast carrying four bulbous pods with lit window bands, six long girder bridges radiating from it

    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

⚖️ THE ANCESTOR NEEDS STRENGTH 0.7

The one exception to strength 1.0. The ancestor is the preserved Asgard found in stasis, from before the cloning went wrong — gaunt and tall rather than the familiar small grey.

At full strength the 286 ordinary asgard images outvote his 13 and you get a normal Asgard. Between 0.5 and 0.85 the body description takes hold again and he works anywhere:

an asgard ancestor, a gaunt hairless humanoid with a high smooth forehead and a narrow chin, taut smooth pale grey skin, a straight narrow nose and thin lips, a slender torso and long thin limbs with long slender fingers, standing upright with arms at its sides, in an asgard corridor, full body shot

At strength 1.0 he still works, but only with an anchor: inside a stasis cylinder (which you can then place in any room) or against a plain studio background. Do not add a generic lighting phrase like dark interior to him — it scores worse than adding nothing, because that wording is tied to the ordinary Asgard default.

Raising strength above 1.0 helps nothing. At 1.15 and 1.3 results stay level or get worse. 1.0 is the optimum everywhere else.

    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

    ⛔ WHAT IT CANNOT DO

More than one KIND of ship in an image. Two of the same class are fine. Two different classes score 2/5 across seven attempts, and raising strength changes nothing. Even a passing smaller asgard ships in the sky drags the main ship down — leave escorts out.

A shield enclosing the whole ship. Seven wordings, including bubble, oval shell and energy envelope. The glow always sits behind the hull. What works is the ship silhouetted against an energy discharge.

Named individuals. No personal names anywhere in the captions.

Ha'tak or other Goa'uld ships. Damage and destruction. Not trained.

Words with zero training images — they steer nothing:

vanir asgard · hall of wisdom · warship · orilla · othala · shipyard · fleet in orbit · gold arch · holographic plate · warm interior light · pale angular panels behind

Small things that go wrong: on wool next to the control stone (it is in the caption, leave it out) · a large oval blue-grey stone and a row of smaller dark stones on the head ornament — it is in two captions, but it renders wrong and puts one stone too many on the head. Stay with the small gold ornament · silver device instead of golden · motion blurred · glowing warm orange

    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

    🪤 TRAPS WORTH KNOWING

Name the class, never just the hull. a bilskirnir-class spaceship lands every time; the same hull without the class name drops to 1/5. And an asgard spaceship is a setting in the captions ("aboard"), not a shape.

I long believed the O'Neill hull was unusable because a flat oval hull with a cylindrical module behind it also describes the USS Enterprise, and that the base model won that contest. It does not. With the rest of the caption in place the same wording scores 5/5. What failed was never the shape, it was the half-written prompt around it.

Name the part, not the room. a dark asgard wall panel works. an asgard computer room pulls in a desktop PC with a mouse and keyboard.

Ask for light, and put it in the scene. Interiors get progressively darker across training epochs — about 40 % darker at the final one, measured on fixed seeds. bright interior light helps but is thinly supported. More reliable is a light source inside the scene: a lit yellow console at the right · an amber lit panel behind it · vertical blue light strips on the wall

Counts are the most fragile part of a prompt. Put the number and subject at the front, and render a few seeds and count anyway.

One safety-filter trap that is not this model's fault: a radial burst of light renders black — and it does so without the LoRA too, so it is the base model's filter. Use a bright star flaring instead.
