    Redact-o-tron!

    Trigger word: redactotron

Turn any document, page, or flat surface into a believable declassified conspiracy-archive artifact. Redactotron bakes in the look of 1960s–1990s government paper: typewriter text, stamped classification marks, black-bar redactions, coffee stains, staple holes, marginalia, fax artifacts, and the soft grime of a filing cabinet that nobody was supposed to open.

Built for ARG writers, creepypasta creators, analog-horror artists, true-crime documentarians, and anyone who needs a found paper that feels institutional and wrong.

    What it does

    • Adds photocopied / microfilm / scanned-paper texture

    • Reinforces redaction bars, stamps, handwriting, and marginal notes

    • Pushes layouts toward authentic memo, dossier, cable, and case-file forms

    • Keeps text readable enough to feel real without becoming garbled nonsense

    What it does NOT do

    • It is not an OCR engine — generated text may be plausible gibberish

    • It is not a logo / seal generator — agency letterheads come out impressionistic

    How to use

Put the trigger word first, then describe the document you want.

redactotron, declassified CIA memo, TOP SECRET stamp, redacted paragraphs, typewriter text, scanned paper, 1970s, public domain

    Typical LoRA weight: 0.6 – 0.9

    • 0.6 — subtle paper / archive texture

    • 0.8 — strong document identity, still promptable

    • 1.0 — heavy found-document look; may override subject

    Example prompts

    Cold War cable:

redactotron, declassified CIA cable, redacted names, stamp markings, typewritten paragraphs, scanned paper, manila folder edge, 1962

    Case file cover:

redactotron, FBI case file cover sheet, confidential stamp, black redaction bars, handwritten notes in margins, photocopied paper, 1987

    Conspiracy board note:

redactotron, handwritten witness statement, coffee stain, underlined sentences, paper clip mark, police report, 1994

    Close-up texture:

redactotron, classified document texture, redacted text close-up, creased paper, grainy photocopy, monochrome

    Suggested negative prompt

(anime:1.3), (cartoon:1.3), 3d render, clean, vector, watermark, signature

Add these if your output drifts:

colorful, saturated, glossy, modern, digital screenshot, plastic, emoji

    Description

    First version, be gentle goddammit.

Very interesting, seems it could be useful of some. How does it react with non documents? Cool redacted areas and printer line in a rustic old film image sound pretty cool.
