About the Artist

Duk Hyun "Frank" Cho (born February 2, 1971, Seoul, South Korea) is a Korean-American comic book artist, writer and illustrator, creator of Liberty Meadows and one of the most celebrated pin-up and figure artists in modern comics.

• Origins: Born in Seoul; immigrated with his family to the United States at age six, settling in Beltsville, Maryland. Grew up reading Mad Magazine, Archie comics, and classic newspaper strips.

• Training: Studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), where he created the college comic strip University Brains. His strip Liberty in the student paper evolved into what would become his signature series.
