Local TV recreates the visual language of low budget American television from the 1980s through the 1990s: local news, public access programming, community bulletin boards, weather reports, station graphics, questionable commercials and of course, awkward interviews.

The LoRA was built from surviving examples of period broadcast media rather than a modern interpretation of retro TV, with an emphasis on the actual compositions, graphics, sets, typography, and production limitations of the era.

For stronger analog degradation, add terms such as:

analog television broadcast capture, VHS recording, horizontal scanlines, RGB color fringing, NTSC color bleed, analog video noise, tracking distortion, tape generation loss

For cleaner period broadcast footage, simply use the trigger and describe the program you want.

English text was deliberately tagged during training, so text-heavy prompts work particularly well for bulletin boards, lower thirds, station IDs, commercials, and program titles.

(Results may include malformed broadcast text or AI garbled subtext. I'm using a turbo version of Krea2 and I was too lazy to prompt them out...but it's possible).

THIS IS EXPERIMENTAL! So just have fun with it!
