Narumiya Mei is a student of Inashiro Industrial and the ace of the school's baseball team. He is considered the number one southpaw (left-handed) pitcher of the Kantō region and of his entire generation, and is nicknamed "The Prince of the Capital" for his exemplar performance during the 89th Summer Koshien.
