v1 looks very nice, still better than v2 which has become worse
I think you're right, V2 may need a bit more work. It's not necessarily not a 'bad' model, but it does feel like it's lost something that made V1 a 'good' model. I hope to address this with V3.
@TPG_ v3 is way better than v2, but it looks overfitted on the face. making only the exact same more realistic mature face on different characters, in same prompts vs v1, which v1 made different and younger faces according to character. probably due to v3 looking more realistic where as v1 looked like 3d anime that i can describe as looking very soft and cel shaded with colored outlines which are gone in v3. also appears the colors are more muted vs v1 with less contrast and no more bloom. maybe you were going for a more realistic model? if so v1 was a good mistake. v3 is a good model but it looks like they are trying to achieve different things
@goeypants400 Thanks again for the feedback. V3.0 is intended to be slightly more 'realistic' and mature than V1.0 so in that aspect at least it seems to work.
I'm currently working on a new anime style model which shares the soft style of V1.0, and I'll keep the points you've raised in mind going forward with its construction. It may end us as V4.0 at some point, but has potential for being its own unique thing.
@TPG_ absolute goat of anima. v1 is my favorite anima model still. it would make sense to continue this as realism and another branch for the anime style of v1 continued, such a unique style that makes it so good and hard to top. will donate all my buzz but its only 53 lol

But would honestly be even nicer if someone made a model capable of generating Western people. The AI field is so freaking riddled with models that can only do Chinese characters/styles.
Fair comment. Personally, I prefer the Asian style, hence the style here, but I do agree that it has become somewhat ubiquitous. V3 is almost ready and will 'hopefully' do a better job of Western characteristics. If not I intend to lean more in that direction when\if V4 ever surfaces.
