Even as just an influence to sketches, Kobayashi-sensei's approach is really a joy for the eyes. Though it can be compared to Amano's evocative work, Kobayashi's visuals really have a quality that is all her own. Bold and gorgeous, with an ethereal energy with a kind of earthy element grounding them just enough.
