Skottie Young is an American comic book artist, writer, and children's book illustrator known for his whimsical, cartoonish style. Rising to prominence at Marvel Comics with titles like Spider-Man: Legend of the Spider Clan, Human Torch, and Rocket Raccoon, he earned acclaim for Eisner Award-winning adaptations of L. Frank Baum’s Oz books with Eric Shanower. His creator-owned Image Comics hits include the darkly comedic I Hate Fairyland, Middlewest, and The Me You Love in the Dark. Young has illustrated Neil Gaiman’s Fortunately, the Milk, produced thousands of Marvel variant covers, and won Eisner, Ringo, Inkwell, and Bram Stoker awards.
