Huh, did not know beans are popular in the uk. I'm fairly solitary in my preference for them here.
The UK is probably the world's largest consumer of baked beans, particularly heinz. We have them with everything - beans on toast, jacket potato with beans, part of the Full English Breakfast, with pretty much every meal I had growing up 😂

Sounds fantastic. My parents used to comment on my habit of adding beans to toast weird. Guess now I have some point of reference to cite, at least, so thanks for that.
