Nubia is the Queen of the Amazons and the former guardian of Doom's Doorway. After honorably serving as the Amazons' champion for many years, Nubia was appointed as the new Queen of Themyscira following Hippolyta's abdication. She now serves as the ruler over all Amazons following an inter-tribal tournament to choose who would succeed her as the Guardian of Doom's Doorway.
