Dona Lurdinha is Cascão’s mother in Turma da Mônica, a recurring supporting character who first appeared in the 1970s. She is usually portrayed as a practical, long-suffering homemaker whose obsession with keeping the house clean—and especially with getting Cascão to bathe—provides a natural comic contrast to her perpetually dirty son.

While her outfit constantly changes, she's always wearing a bandanna hairband. Outfits are either dresses, or shirt and skirt, often with an apron.
