Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing great. This time I bring you Ibuki from BLACK TORCH! Ibuki, also known as Ogre Lord Ibuki, is a long-lived mononoke and the ruler of Avidya Forest. Although she initially presents herself as an intimidating and highly territorial guardian who threatens anyone entering her domain, her true personality is considerably gentler. Ibuki is fundamentally kind, protective, and deeply attached to the forest she considers her home, showing little hostility toward humans or other mononoke as long as they do not threaten her territory. Her imposing presence contrasts strongly with her affectionate personality, especially when she is together with her husband Monjumaru, with whom she has shared more than two centuries of life. Their relationship is unusually affectionate and playful, and Ibuki was responsible for sharing half of her mononoke power with Monjumaru, allowing him to become an immortal half-mononoke. She later takes Jiro Azuma under her wing, helping him learn to control Rago’s overwhelming power through intense combat training alongside Monjumaru.

Ibuki has a highly distinctive supernatural appearance centered around her pale lavender-white hair, large curved dark brown horns, pointed ears, golden eyes, and the purple ornamental marking on her forehead. Her design combines the appearance of an elegant demon woman with strong mononoke characteristics, giving her a mature, powerful, and distinctly otherworldly presence. Her outfit emphasizes white and dark navy-purple tones, with a revealing halter-style top, crossed straps, detached sleeves, a fitted waist corset, thigh-high stockings, and decorative red and gold accents. The contrast between her pale hair and clothing and the darker navy-purple elements makes her silhouette particularly recognizable. Since this is an early model, some of the more intricate elements may still be unstable, especially the curved horns, forehead marking, crossed chest straps, detached sleeves, gold sleeve trim, layered waist pieces, and the multiple red bands around her thigh wraps.
