Sin, or Mother Superior, is the daughter of the Red Skull (Johann Schmidt), born to a washerwoman who died in childbirth. After losing her powers following a process that rejuvenated her, Sin became an expert hand-to-hand combatant, a skilled marksman, and a strategist of terror.
