Hi everyone! I'm excited to share TOT Horizon Art XL (v1.0) — an SDXL/Pony-based checkpoint I built to break away from the usual plastic 3D renders and generic anime look.
The core focus here is on illustrations, oil painting textures, and concept art. The model preserves a soft brushwork feel, pastel tones, and a storybook atmosphere while keeping anatomical stability solid thanks to its Pony foundation.
What it excels at:
Concept Art & Storybooks: Fantastic for fantasy landscapes, castles, fairytale scenes, and book-style artwork.
LoRA Compatibility: The checkpoint is clean (no heavily baked-in sliders), making it very responsive to external LoRAs — from ink work to futuristic architecture.
Color Saturation: With the right tags and a slightly lower CFG, it unlocks vibrant, rich color saturation for digital art.
Quick Recommended Settings:
Fairytale & Painterly Style: CFG 6.0 – 7.0, 30–35 steps, Sampler:
dpmpp_2moreuler_a(Scheduler:karras).Saturated Sci-Fi & Digital Art: Drop CFG to 4.5 – 5.0, 38–40 steps, Sampler:
dpmpp_2m_sde(Scheduler:exponential). Adding the StarCity-Pony LoRA (strength 0.50 – 0.70) works wonders for glass reflections and sharp architecture.
