    A Goofy Movie 1995

A style LoRA for Krea 2. Applies a consistent visual treatment without locking the subject matter.

    Usage

Include the trigger word agm in your prompt.

Recommended weight: 1. Start there and adjust — styles often read well below 1.0, and lower weights blend more naturally with other LoRAs.

Have you considered releasing your new LoRAs free for like the first 24 (or even 48) hours?

I've noticed that all your free LoRAs get 20x or even 100x as many downloads, while the paid ones might get 1-5. While you make some buzz from the single buyer, the tradeoff is that your models don't get the viral hype for the "trending" tabs. (meaning the only people who see it to buy it are the ones already following you)

If you were to set all your models to free for the first day or so it would:
    1) let you use all those free downloaders who were never going to give you money/buzz to instead give you a trending push getting more eyes on the current free models plus all your older, paid models.

2)this will build up your follower list so much that you show up in the top creators list so new users can find you organically and pay you for older models they want

3)by leveraging the free downloaders to get all your great models to go viral, it'll give more exposure to your models and what people make with them, which lets you make more buzz from the people generating with your models (you get a buzz commission for every generation)

    4) this would encourage people who come to your account to actually follow you so they see your new models the minute they drop (fear of missing out drives conversions, my friend!) and then that large following list again (as said above) can be leveraged for more organic growth.

You don't have to be spammy or anything, but this freemium "keep a close eye out so you don't miss out!" model is how many SAAS and platforms work to enable those who can't pay to get access and those who can (and will) pay to pay for extras they want and everyone's happier. It's very equitable!

hey @7117 thank you so much for your feedback. Really appreciate your effort and all the arguments. Let me tell you what I tried. The first 90+ loras I publish here, was all free, I was expecting some sort of tips for the work, but I get 2000 or 3000 buzz in tips for all the work, so, I decide prize all my loras. I was thinking about the price (1000 yellow buzz), and the amount of $ the user pay is 1$ and the amount i get is maybe 0.30$ - 0.40$ (you never know cose the system civitai uses to monetize your work is a nightmare rollercoaster), I thought this setup was ok, cheap. Then yellow buzz starts to show up. After a while, I get another suggestion from a user, to price my loras down, so I will get more "sales", and I did, I price all my loras at 300 yellow buzz for a week, and at the end, I get more or less the same amount of downloads, meaning 70% less yellow buzz. So, i get back to price at 1000. I would like civitai to improve the ways and options a creator can monetize and promote the work, like monthly subscriptions with tiers and things like that, some sort of patreon if you like, but right now is not the case. I send a ticket a week ago asking for help to setup easy way for users to download my loras and radio silence since then. Your Idea sounds good, but, do still think in the same way after I explain you all my process? I have plans to create free loras, and im doing it atm, i publish some free loras that anyone can use. But setting all my loras for free for the first day/s doesnt sounds like very smart move to do after my experience, but the problem as a creator is that civitai doesnt give me this option, so I have to do all this configuration manually everyday, putting new loras with price, add new loras without price, keep some sort of excel sheet to control manually all this stuff is also a nightmare for me. Please, give me your thoughts about my reply.

    7117Sep 16, 2026

@RKRRa I understand your pain! Civitai is still trying new things and learning from feedback, so there's a need for new ways to monetize and give users (especially valuable uploaders like you!) more control.

The fact that setting your price to only 300 instead of 1000 resulted in the same amount of downloads proves my point: the people who were always going to pay would pay anyway (meaning you're missing out on the hundreds of downloads of free downloaders who can't). The payers will find a way to pay whether it's 1000 or 300, the nonpayers can't.

I understand your frustration. From my history in marketing and dealing with customers, the problem you're having is that you want to make at least something (resources) from your uploads so you tried to solve that by setting the same price for everyone. The problem is that some can't pay (even $1 is too much for those without access to it, or no platform, or US bank, etc.) so how can you monetize the ones who can't pay?

As I outlined in my original post, I think your best option is to not "squeeze blood from a stone" (meaning: try to get something that the users don't have) from the free ones. So what CAN you get from the free downloaders? Leverage and exposure! The ones who can pay will find a way to give you buzz (money) to support you whether it's 300 or 1,000. But if you set them to free from the start (then change a day or two later) you can get SOMETHING from the free downloaders: their help.

The free downloaders are unable to pay in cash/buzz. So let them pay you how they can: boosting your LoRAs by downloading, liking, commenting, etc. so it pushes them in the algorithm in front of a bigger number of payers.

The problem you're having is an old one and one every kind of platform, business, service, etc. all faces online: how do I get some benefit from people who can't pay? The answer: give them access and let their work (the interactions, likes, comments, etc.) serve as help to push your platform into the attention of those who CAN pay.

Even Civitai gives free buzz to each user for this reason! It's because the benefit of having a LOT more users (even free ones) eventually means all the talking, posting, etc. grows big enough that it gets the platform (or your LoRAs) in front of the people who can pay (and want to pay a lot!)

If you run a night club, you let all the girls in free so the guys who want to spend thousands of dollars on champagne show up. If you try to charge everyone $1,000 per bottle like you want that guy to pay, no one will show up so he has no one to dance with when he does show up with money.

Your 300 buzz is reasonable! The price wasn't the problem. It's that some people cannot pay with financial means (every platform does this!) so you have to find another way to benefit. You give them access for free, and in exchange they like, comment, download, interact, etc. and they promote your LoRAs for you.

    7117Sep 16, 2026

@RKRRa I see you have a discord community and a Patreon to make money. This is reasonable and how many people make money. The problem you're having is that you're really good at the technical aspect (creating the LoRAs) but don't have the business/marketing experience.

What you need to build is called a marketing funnel. You need something at the top (your LoRAs being free) as a reason to get people to follow you and build up your account (move down the funnel.) You want this top portion to be as big as possible (that's why they're free for everyone for a short time) and some percentage of those who come for the free stuff will join your discord and Patreon.

These premium followers who want to give you money/buzz will then move further down the marketing funnel by contacting you on discord/patreon to commission more LoRAs (give you money.)

But the only way to find hundreds or thousands of these paying customers (the whales, big fish!) who pay the most, is to cast a wide net. And you need good bait (the LoRAs being free) to give them a reason to stay on your fishing line long enough for you to reel them in!

@7117 got it! So the point is to give more loras for free in return of exposure. So, instead of your original idea to set all the loras for free the first day, dont you think set up some % of my loras for free forever will be also a nice way to achieve that? if so, what % you think it will work best for my profile?

    7117Sep 16, 2026

@RKRRa Now you're thinking creatively! But, let's outline the new problem of setting "some percentage of LoRAs as free forever" is that then your problem becomes you trying to decide which LoRAs most people you've never met would want for free and which they would pay for. You're converting your marketing issue into a matter of you deciding what people should want.

I'm not saying your idea is wrong, I'm saying you're just trading one problem for another. And your new problem is an old business problem too. The phrase "The customer is always right" doesn't mean "let rude people be rude." The full phrase is "The custom is always right...in matters of taste." Meaning that if you want to sell blue shirts, but customer's want to buy green shirts, then you'll get frustrated and give up and go out of business because you tried to decide for them which they -should- pay for and which they shouldn't.

In example: If you set LoRA A, LoRA B, and LoRA C as "free forever" and LoRA D, E, F as "paid" but the customers wanted the opposite (they would've paid for ABC, but no one wants DEF) then you'll sell no shirts (LoRAs) and get frustrated no one is buying!

You just gave me an idea how to further use this marketing idea. You want to get buyers to join your discord (move further down the funnel) from the free stuff. So how do you do that? Well, you set a message/notice on here that users in your Discord find out which models will be dropping BEFORE you upload them. This gives free users who want to not miss the 24 hour free window a reason to join your Discord (so they see you say what LoRAs are going to be uploaded, so they download in time!) and then from your Discord community, as it grows over time from dozens or hundreds to thousands (or tens of thousands!) you'll have a huge pool of people all in your community so by pure math the number of buyers will go up.

If only 1% of your followers are buyers then that means out of your 300 followers on CIVITAI, you'll only get 1-3 buys on your paid LoRAs. This seems accurate (since you get about 1-3 buys per paid LoRA on average).

So then your problem is just a math problem. If 1% of my followers are buyers, all I need to do to make more money is get more followers!

And how do you gain massive numbers of followers? You need to go consistently viral and have a way to convert those new eyeballs you're getting into community members.

How do you go consistently viral? Give the LoRAs away free for 24-48 hours (the free downloads/likes/comment/etc.) will boost you to the top charts long periods of time.

How do you convert those new eyeballs? By having a reason for them to join your community and stick around long term (the discord giving warning ahead of time of what LoRAs are coming gives people a reason to join!)

Your problem is just a math problem. Only a small percent of users on ANY platform pay (that's not just for you, it's for everyone. Facebook, Instagram, Civitai, etc.) so all you need to do to make more money is increase the number of potential payers you have by getting as many bodies into your pool of available people as possible.

If 1% (or even 10%) of your followers buy, then all you need to do to make more money is get more followers. And you can leverage all the ones who aren't paying you directly, into getting more payers by growing your community and downloading/liking/interacting with the free LoRAs! It's powerful my friend

    7117Sep 16, 2026

What I'm saying is not just theory, either. You can look at the long-term mainstay profiles here who have 10s of thousands of regular followers/millions of downloads/etc. who are making $$$ here and it's because they gave everything away for FREE for months/years and built up a huge following. When you give people an absolutely massive ton of free value forever, you will build not only a huge following but when the people who are buyers show up, they see "Wow, this dude has a zillion followers, he must be really good at what he does!" where as when they show up to an account with two followers and no one interacting they think "This guy isn't experienced enough yet."

Look at any account here making serious $$$ and it's because they gave everything away for free for a longtime yet still ended up making money because they created a HUGE pool of potential buyers AND they created legitimacy and social proof. No one wanting to spend money wants to give their money to an untested, potential scam bot account.

But that RKRRa guy who has 30,000 followers because he's so awesome at this that he can give the chips and salsa away for free to everyone who came in? That's the guy they want to special order a steak from!

@7117 I see your point. As I mention before, this setup of making first 24H loras and price it after that, is a nightmare to conrol, and im not going to jump in to this. If civitai had a system implemented I will give it a try, but how it is right now is going to be a mess for me to manually control all of that considering the amount of loras I publish everyday. So, as an alternative, I can try to do somehing like, "FREE WEEK", or somehting like this, where for a large period of time, everythig is free and foerever. In this scenario, the types of products (loras) are going to be distributed equaly, (green shirts, and blue shirts). And I can do that once at month for exmple, do you think it will work?

    7117Sep 16, 2026

I'll give you one further piece of strategy real quick: the LoRAs you think would be the most valuable are the ones you believe that will get the most downloads. Those are the ones you might be tempted to charge for, but that's backwards.

The ones that most people would want are the ones that have the best chance of going viral and getting eyeballs on your lesser-known-but still good LoRAs!

Take your Star Wars Krea 2 LoRA. It got the most by far. This shows that that one particular one had such a heavy appeal that even when you setup a roadblock (payment) several people were still willing to.

That's fine if every LoRA you make is as popular as Star Wars (they won't be) so how can you better leverage the popularity?

Now imagine how many people would've wanted that if there was no wall in place.

If you had uploaded it for free (the quality of your LoRAs is good) it would've EASILY gotten thousands or tens of thousands of new eyes on your profile (and all your back catalog). If your funnel driving people to your Discord to see the new LoRAs had been in place, you could've 10x your Discord community with that one.

The most strategic move for the LoRAs you think have a huge chunk of guaranteed wanters, is to release that for free and let the swarm of downloads/likes/comments/etc. create viral moments that grow your profile. This sets you up for success because every viral hit you gave away for free gives you a higher chance to go viral again because every LoRA you release after that you're releasing with a larger dedicated community already in place!

Let each one of your LoRAs be a seed that helps produce the next harvest.

Don't eat the seeds. Give em away free and let your community do the manual labor for you.

    Godspeed, hope it helps.

    7117Sep 16, 2026

@RKRRa free week is not a bad start until civitai gives you more granularity on your control! Smart thinking!

The downside to it is that part of the boost of having them go viral means the ones you upload during free week will go way more viral than the older ones that were already uploaded and become free during free week.

This means that even if the LoRA is good, it won't go as viral as it could have if it had been uploaded when it was free. You're getting close to seeing the power of the virality of why "free at first, paid later" works.

Your free week is basically my idea in reverse. Upload them (they stagnate, no downloads) then if they get no sales, make them free later. The problem is that older products won't get that "new and trending" boost they would have if they'd been free when they were uploaded.

You're right there on the doorstep. You're getting the power of why having them be momentarily free (free week) is smart. You're just missing the strategy that lets you get momentarily free+uploaded just now so they go viral and reach top of trending.

Older models don't trend as well as brand new. Let the free be the new ones (24-48 hours) so they trend and that let's them sell themselves PLUS get eyeballs on your old one. The more eyeballs that land on the full back catalog, the more likely you are to match up whoever would pay for it with the model they didn't know they wanted until they saw it.

Let the new ones free be your viral marketing weapon so you can set yourself up to make a killing!

@7117 thanks for all your advice! I will think about this and do something about it

    7117Sep 16, 2026

@RKRRa Completely Understandable. I mean, what do you have to lose? You've already tried it the other way. Why not try it for like a month and see if you get the growth out of it?

Halloween is a little over a month away. Set your funnel in place by updating your profile here telling users that members of your Discord find out what LoRAs are coming the day before they do. Set everything current and coming between now and Halloween (or 30 days) free.

Then keep releasing the massive amount of high quality LoRAs you do and let the virality work its magic. If you want to add a note on them that they'll (eventually) be paywalled, why not do that?

Is it a hassle? Everything to make $ is. But at least you enjoy this. And there are worse headaches. Why not try it for ONE month and see if you see some growth and you'll know if it's worth it long-term until civitai comes up with a working way to do it automatically? I could and you're better at it than me.

    7117Sep 16, 2026

One thing this conversation revealed is that Civitai could do a "reverse early access" release window.

Instead of having it be "paid for a short time, automatically becomes free later" they should have an option to have it "free for a short time, automatically becomes paid later" and let you set the timer.

Food for thought because I support you:

In the last week, you've uploaded dozens of LoRAs that total about 1 download each. (a couple got more) The two LoRAs you uploaded free today have more downloads than all those rest combined.

150% or more!! And that's just in the few minutes we were talking!
Imagine how viral each would be going (and how many new fans would discover you) if these were your daily 5-8+ LoRAs instead of just two. Crazy!

    CivitAI

Hey bro, just FYI, Civitai's new timed pricing deal is perfect for you. If you want to do the "free for the first 24 hours" thing, you can set the coupon/pricing for 100% off for the first day, then it automatically goes to regular price.

Just letting you know since you said the only thing stopping you from using that awesome boosted trending that free movie style LoRAs get the first day was the fact it used to be a huge hassle having to manually do the pricing changes. Godspeed, looking forward to what you bring us next👌
