In response to an interesting bounty challenge, I self-indulgently and immaturely pursued a fun project the results of which I present for your enjoyment and/or disgust…Hope you experience as much fun using it as I had in making it!
Description
What you are about to experience makes up in surprise and wonder what it lacks in predictability, prompt adherence and a conventionally consistent character. covitai called it a failure but I got 10 quirky epochs and a 500 buzz refund plus a happy accident. You may get the non-humanoid, genital faced, four legged monster Alien I intended in a variety of no reason to be covered in that much slime edition, the boxy cute version, or something else. You may get a creepy biped or a giant monster or my favorite a human standing in front of a god like figure. I like it.
The Backstory No One Asked For:
So, I thought to myself “every time you make an SDXL model you have to hunt for just the right checkpoint, why not custom pick an SDXL model and get ahead of the search”… mind you, just the right SDXL checkpoint means finding the models or model to help answer the question “did I make a LoRA in the unusable to awful range, the not bad to pretty good range, or the coveted pretty good to good range?” Don’t get me wrong, I can make models that produce great images more often than not (but not in SDXL) all the way to “Those preview pictures are making me question reality itself” and not in a good way. Anyway I trained it on Cartoon XL-it renders well in that but not for the usual reasons.
