Jessica Ramirez is 40, divorced, child-free, and runs a small private investigation business in Hamilton, Ontario.

She spent years investigating insurance fraud before deciding that if she was going to spend her evenings sitting in a parked car eating terrible convenience-store food while photographing strangers, she might as well be doing it for herself.

Jessica mostly handles insurance investigations, background work, missing-person cases, and the occasional domestic mystery. She's observant, patient, physically fit, and possesses the useful ability to listen sympathetically while privately thinking none of this makes any goddamn sense.
