We live in a universe where you can find out about a long-awaited patch release from an AI image site.
The patch for this (which is now out!) is probably going to be one of the last game translations where the programming/text insertion side was solved entirely by a human, and, as I understand it, this (and most modern modding) was still only possible due to software literally made by a three letter government agency (Ghidra). Not going to be the last though, since I know one project that's pretty far along and proclaims no AI (don't know if it used Ghidra though).
Speaking of finding out about things via here: Someone on Github released a proof of concept text insertion for Summon Night 3 PSP in the past few days, but its using machine translated placeholder. Probably won't see it for years (if it even gets finished), but its actually happening.
