    MAKEUP — Bare-Faced ↔ Made-Up Slider

    Quick Reference

    • -1.0 = natural / bare-faced

    • +1.0 = clear makeup

    • +2.0 = pro-glam / full beat

Sometimes your character just needs a little mascara.
Sometimes she needs the full wrath of the cosmetics counter.

MAKEUP is a clean slider LoRA that moves a face from bare-faced and natural to professionally made-up and glam, without needing to rewrite your whole prompt every five minutes like a deranged beauty editor.

At the negative end, you get a more natural, unvarnished, low-cosmetic look.
Push positive, and the slider builds toward a more finished, polished, camera-ready face: stronger brows, more eye definition, more blush/contour, fuller lips, and that unmistakable “someone definitely spent time on this” energy.

It’s not trying to reinvent portraiture.
It’s just a solid, readable axis for “less makeup” ↔ “more makeup”.

    If you want:

    • bare-faced realism → go negative

    • everyday polish → stay around the middle

    • full glam / editorial / beauty shoot → push positive

    • absolutely not subtle → yes, it can do that too

    Technical Description

This slider was trained as a targeted concept direction for makeup intensity.

    Slider setup

    • Target: makeup

    • Positive pole: a woman wearing professional makeup

    • Negative pole: a woman without makeup

    • Anchor: none

This means the slider is trained directly on the concept of makeup itself, rather than on an anchored contrast class. In practice, it tends to produce a fairly intuitive progression:

    • Negative values reduce cosmetic styling and move toward a more natural, bare-faced look

    • Positive values increase visible makeup cues and facial polish

    • The strongest visible changes are typically in:

      • eyebrows

      • lashes / eyeliner

      • eyelids / shadow

      • blush / cheek definition

      • lips

      • overall complexion polish

    Suggested working range

    • -1.0 to -0.3 → natural, reduced makeup, bare-faced

    • 0.0 to +0.8 → light to moderate everyday makeup

    • +1.0 to +1.4 → clear makeup, polished beauty look

    • +1.5 to +2.0 → stronger glamour / professional makeup / “full beat”

For most standard portrait work, -1 to +2 is the sweet spot.

    Notes from testing

    • The slider behaves cleanly in normal portraits and beauty shots

    • More stylized or unusual subjects may want weights outside the “ordinary human portrait” zone

    • In testing:

      • Geisha looks wanted more negative travel than expected

      • Pig / novelty subjects wanted more positive travel than expected

So yes: humans usually behave, but pigs and geishas may negotiate separately.
