Portrait Lighting Series
Six classic photographic lighting looks for expressive portraits. Each version is a separate LoRA, from sculpted Rembrandt shadows and old-Hollywood butterfly light to soft beauty illumination and bright cinematic edges.
What it does
01 | Rembrandt Lighting — Directional facial modeling with a small triangle of light on the shadow-side cheek.
02 | Butterfly Lighting — Elevated frontal light and a centered nose shadow for glamour portraits.
03 | Split Lighting — A strong half-lit face for dramatic character portraits.
04 | Loop Lighting — Gentle diagonal nose shadows and natural facial modeling.
05 | Clamshell Lighting — Soft, balanced beauty light with lifted shadows.
06 | Rim Lighting — Bright outlines on hair and shoulders with a readable face.
How to use
Select a lighting look from the version tabs. Start with one LoRA at strength 1.0. Place its trigger first, then describe your subject, clothing, pose and setting. The trigger is the lighting name, such as Rembrandt lighting or Rim lighting.
Recommended starting settings
Krea 2 Turbo (official BF16) · LoRA strength 1.0 · 8 steps · CFG 1.0 · Euler ancestral · beta scheduler
The gallery uses native 3:4 portraits at approximately 2 MP, without upscaling or a face detailer.
Creative tips
Keep the face visible and give the lighting a clear role. Simple backgrounds make the pattern easier to read. Loop Lighting is gentle; Clamshell Lighting softens skin contrast. Exact light direction and shadow geometry vary with the pose. These adapters can also change facial appearance and framing.

Description
Portrait Lighting Series — No. 03
A strong division between the illuminated and shadowed halves of the face. Dramatic character portraits with a clean, cinematic silhouette.
How to use
Krea 2 Turbo (official BF16) · LoRA strength 1.0 · Trigger: Split lighting
Place the trigger first, then describe one adult subject, clothing and setting.
Recommended starting settings
8 steps · CFG 1.0 · Euler ancestral · beta scheduler · Portrait 3:4 · approximately 2 MP
Prompt example
Split lighting. An adult woman with slicked-back hair in a structured scarlet suit over a black high-neck shirt. Frontal chest-up portrait against a black studio background, one side of the face brightly lit and the other deeply shadowed.
Creative tips
Keep the face mostly frontal and request a single lateral key light. Dark backgrounds and strong clothing silhouettes work well. The shadow-side eye can become very dark. Exact light direction, facial appearance and framing may vary.
