Tip: Neck accessories, such as necklaces or chokers, may interfere with the rope quality. If you run into this issue, try adding bound arms or bound breasts to your prompt for better results.
Joshuu Shibari, literally meaning "Female Prisoner Binding," is a Japanese rope bondage style which takes its inspiration from the image of a female prisoner being bound.
Its historical background is Hojōjutsu (the traditional Japanese art of rope restraint), used to capture, secure, and transport prisoners. In the Edo period, different binding methods varied by the prisoner's status, occupation, and gender.
Traditional restraint methods have been instrumental in the development of modern Japanese rope bondage (Kinbaku). Joshuu Shibari is now, in fact, a named style of binding within the modern practice of rope bondage.
