SchmusRealism: Fluffiness Slider - Krea 2
From sleek to maximum floof, with one number. This slider makes the fur of cats, dogs, rabbits, foxes and other furry animals longer, softer and more voluminous, while the animal stays the same: pose, face, background are kept.
No trigger word. Strength = fluffiness. One normal sampler.
What it does
Krea 2 has a default coat for every animal, usually short and neat. Prompting "very fluffy" works, but it re-rolls the whole picture: a different cat, a different pose, a different room. The slider grows the coat on your image instead:
- +1: clearly fluffier: longer fur, puffed-up chest and tail, soft outline.
- +2: maximum floof: long-haired, cloud-like coat, lionhead rabbits, spitz-like dogs.
- The rest stays put: same seed, same composition, same light.
Use cases
- Cute cat and pet posts, from "neat house cat" to "fluffy ball" without rerolling.
- Cozy / winter scenes: puffed-up winter coats, backlit fur that glows.
- Wildlife: foxes, squirrels, bears, owls in their winter look.
- Storybook and illustration animals: works on drawn animals too.
- Fine-tuning a render you like: a bit more or less fur, nothing else.
How to use
Load it like any LoRA: Krea 2 Turbo, 8 steps, cfg 1, euler / simple, Load LoRA (model only) → sampler. That's it.
- Works with other LoRAs.
- Best subjects: one furry animal that fills a good part of the frame. Backlight makes the extra fur glow.
Strengths and weaknesses
Strengths
- Real, controllable fluffiness that Krea 2 can't dial in by prompting without changing the picture.
- Keeps pose, face, framing and background close to the image without the slider.
- Works on cats, dogs, rabbits, foxes and other mammals, in photos and illustrations.
- Loads like any LoRA: one sampler, no special workflow, no trigger word.
Weaknesses (v1, please read)
- Animals only. Don't use it on people. It was trained on animals only, so on a person it doesn't know what to do: at +1 and above it changes the face (even the ethnicity) and the clothes. Leave it off (or at 0) for images with people in them.
- Colours can drift toward "fluffy breeds". Fur can shift to more white/brighter tones the more fluffy it gets
- Illustrations re-draw more. On drawn scenes, background details (a chimney, an antenna) can change at +1 and above.
- Feathers barely react. Owls and birds change very little.
Thanks for checking out my LoRA and I hope you find it helpful in your artworks.
