A “Suno killer” for your own GPU, now in ComfyUI
A ComfyUI-format repack of the YuE2-RS-FW 4.0 × 0.7 finetune, so it loads through the standard checkpoint loader in ComfyUI's YuE2 text-to-music workflow. One file: transformer weights, VAE and tokenizer data.
- YuE2-3B: the base model (m-a-p's 3-billion-parameter YuE2)
- RS-FW: Ruach Studio's "First Wave" finetune
- 4.0×0.7: the epoch-4.0 save, merged at strength 0.7
My experience
I started on this because stock YuE2 kept giving me tracks with a harsh, noisy edge that undercut otherwise decent songs. With this merge, some of that went away for me, and the music feels deeper and richer: more body, more vibe, more like a finished record than a demo. It isn't a cure-all. This is just my ears on limited testing, same seeds and prompts as stock, not a benchmark. The finetune author's model card says their own blind comparison of the merges is still in progress.

Usage
Put the file in ComfyUI/models/checkpoints/ and select it in the checkpoint widget of the ComfyUI YuE2 workflow. Nothing else needs to change.
What I did
Only a repackage. The finetune is published in m-a-p's layout; ComfyUI loads one bundled checkpoint. A script remaps the finetune's transformer weights into ComfyUI's layout (fusing q/k/v into qkv_proj and gate/up into gate_up_proj) and copies the VAE and tokenizer data unchanged from the standard ComfyUI YuE2 checkpoint. Every converted tensor was checked against the stock checkpoint. I didn't train or alter the weights.
