Marion was a member of the Team of Light, which she and her husband, Oriel, created to fight the Ancient Witches and Valtor.[2] According to Valtor, she was just as powerful a sorceress as Bloom herself.[3] In the final battle against Valtor, the entire team was defeated, and no one saw how the royal spouses overcame the sorcerer and sealed him in the Omega Dimension.[2] Upon learning that their planet had been destroyed by the Ancient Witches and that their daughters had disappeared or perished, the king and queen were overcome with grief. They went into exile to mourn their daughters.[4] Most likely, the exile referred to the final battle with the Ancient Witches, during which, in an attempt to seal them forever in Obsidian, Orietal was drawn into a portal, and Marion, using magic, trapped herself in his sword, following her husband. So, the royal spouses and their entire people found themselves trapped in the Obsidian dimension for a long 17 years, sealed away in stone.[5] Season 2 Appears during Bloom’s nighttime memories of her parents. She, Oriel, and the young Daphne are looking at Bloom, who is lying in a cradle. During a session with Professor Avalon, Bloom receives a locket with the family coat of arms and hears her mother’s lullaby.[6] According to Bloom, in her dreams she always hears her birth mother’s lullaby, but Vanessa’s songs are in her heart.[7] Season 3 After experiencing Bloom’s fierce attack, Valtor mentioned that she was as strong as Marion had been. Then he told a dubious story about how, as a young sorcerer, he met Marion and Oritel. Later, he faced them in the final battle. According to him, he trapped Marion using a spell involving stone cannibals from the Dark Dimension. King Oritel came to her aid, and Valtor foresaw this. He wouldn’t have been able to defeat Oritel if the king hadn’t been distracted by saving Marion, and then he allegedly sent them into eternity.[3] It’s unknown what percentage of Valtor’s words are lies, but it’s clear that the king and queen were not defeated by Valtor. The film “Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom” Bloom frees Marion and Oritel from the Obsidian Dimension, where they had been imprisoned for many years.
