same OVER BOKEH
and same puppy woman like in the original version
I agree about the bokeh which can be very hard to prompt around. You can get different faces though with specific prompts. The default Dev female is kind of nauseating. Looks like every contestant on The Bachelor.
Seeing the exact same face in multiple renders is less enticing for me as I wish for vast variance between models.
V5 appears to be missing files for me...
The file is under review but I should upload it shortly.
Can you clarify how you made the Flux model? You write in the 'About this version' section:
"V5. Perfecthumansexy base model merged with fluz-dev-fp8 model with weight 8."
But isn't the Perfecthumansexy base model an SD 1.5 model? That can't be merged with Flux, it's technically impossible. It's like saying "we made a killer rabbit by breeding rabbits with sharks". You just can't.
Also what you mean by "weight 8". Is the other weight 1, or 10, or what?
A long time ago I created a test lab with base model merging, now it is possible to make hybrid merges with different models, it is a new concept, but it is still experimental, the results are close to models with fine adjustment
@Dxdesignia I see. Well, I maintain that alchemy of that kind is impossible for several reasons. SD 1.5 has <1B parameters, Flux has 12B. They are fundamentally incompatible. Even if you merged some of the parameters that are in there, they are not in the same "order" and have no meaning in the context of the other model.
Basically then, your Flux checkpoint is just Flux.dev with some added noise. Weighted low enough, the noise won't significantly harm the model but it certainly won't improve anything.
@ArtyfacialIntelagent The model is without metadata, the merge actually happened because no one has ever tried to do a hybrid merge between different models, it will be impossible for those who have never tried, it was 6 months of testing, it is not just any type of merge, it takes many hours to get the final version of each model right.
@Dxdesignia Then congratulations, you have made an amazing scientific breakthrough that you should write up in a scientific paper and collect your PhD degree. At the very least, make a quick post on Reddit in /r/stablediffusion and sketch your method. Because the entire AI community currently believes that merging different base models is impossible.
@ArtyfacialIntelagent Its just a little matrix math, calm down. I can create for you a map from a 1b parameter matrix to a 12b parameter matrix quite easily, i could not create a bijection, but the existence of a bijection is not inherently implicit in the functional "merging" of these models. It is easy to imagine a way to take the weights from one model and implement them into another, and plenty of tools for performing transformations on models.
i'm very ignorant about this stuff, but i understand math. and this might be a spaghetti at the wall moment that stuck. breakthrough or not, my point is it is entirely possible to do.
@TatersBarn Of course you can use various mappings or transforms to merge parameters from different models with each other. Or even copy entire layers. But it's meaningless. It's like averaging two spreadsheets - one of European national GDPs and the other of Covid cases in California's counties. You can mix the numbers but it's just nonsense.
and anyway, even if this is just flux1dev with 'some noise'
that noise looks like tiddies. we like that.
Can you explain the difference between your various flux models?
I was wondering the same thing. Same Jaws, chins and round faces.
its no different !
@sevenof9247 What do you want different in this model? The GPU I have is not yet sufficient to fine-tune with Flux Dev and requires a card with at least 16GB of VRAM. For now, I only have this mixed model, ok?
@Dxdesignia
got it!
This is an amazing FP8 model, the best I have found
