Looking at the sample images posted, it looked like v1 captured betm's style a bit better than v2. So I did a comparison, and it turns out the opposite is true: V2 is definitely more like betm's style than v1. And, on top of that, it's more stable. The results are more likely to be good ones, with less missing and extra limbs.
I'll upload the grid of my comparison in just a sec.
Yeah you should never go by my preview pics, they are terrible, I don't do justice to the loras 😂
@Queria lol I'll keep that in mind! But I do know that you make really good style LoRAs, so I knew that I needed to try the v2, even if it looked like it wasn't an improvement. But it is all around.
@Queria Question; if you don't feel they do justice to the Lora, then why not make/submit better ones?
@Lazman Not much point in it, people know that many shitty loras have amazing previews and vice-versa so I just use whatever for the previews and let people decide for themselves if its good or not :P
@Queria Makes sense. As long as there's an option to create on-site, I generally try a LoRA before downloading it if it looks iffy. If it's from a creator that I trust or it seems from the gallery and comments that it works well, I usually don't bother, and just go ahead and DL and try it on my own setup.
@Queria "people know" What people though. I didn't know. Protip; most people are morons. They will take what looks shiny on the packaging(more often than not), not what's actually good and functional, hence why capitalism is still a thing.
@Lazman LOL those are good points that I would mostly agree with
@Queria I've always wondered why some lora creators put up sample images that seem to suggest their loras are terrible or don't work at all. I've always thought, "If I went to the trouble to create a lora, I'd show it off at its best". Interesting to hear a creator's perspective.
@in8dsire694 I would do the same. I mean, even after this conversation, if I put a Lora out there, I'm not gonna post trash images, or people won't download it. If this guy's logic worked, then Tinder/Grindr wouldn't be a thing. But our society is stupidly superficial, and all groomed into consumerism, so they just want the shiny package, and don't care about what it contains.
