@The_LeafMakerGod Apparently illustrious is just another spinoff of SDXL like Pony, so, can't we use illustrious loras with Pony/SDXL?

yeah, but you may not get the best result.
Think of SDXL as a gaming console, like a PlayStation. Illustrious and Pony are like different generations of that console Illustrious is like a PS5, and Pony is like a PS4. While they share the same overall architecture (SDXL), a game (LoRA) designed specifically for the PS5 (Illustrious) won’t run properly on a PS4 (Pony), even though both are PlayStations.
@The_LeafMakerGod I'm a gamer myself, or at least I used to be. Still got a couple game systems, but had to sell my PS5 when I took a trip to the philippines cuz it's so damn heavy and I was strapped for space. Still got my Xb1X, but for the past several months, I've put most my time into AI related tasks. That said, it's a bit complex of an example tbh. I think a clearer way of putting it would be that illustrious is like sdxl 1.2 or something.
Sides, in the realm of gaming, I'd lean towards comparing SDXL to PS, and Pony to XB. Maybe Switch for Illustrious. Since SDXL is more into realism, Pony is a bit more colorful, and Illustrious seems a lot more colorful. Or maybe it's just more precise with the colors. I'm still treading waters with that model type for now.
