Welcome to DreamComeTrue v5.0!
Get ready for a whole new level of realism! So, what sets this version apart from the previous ones? Here's the rundown:
This is a completely new branch, aiming for a more natural, lifelike feel.
Overall improvements in detail and sharpness, with better lighting to make everything look more real.
You'll notice more accurate posing, enhanced anatomy, and much better consistency with clothing.
It's not just realistic; it’s also a bit more creative and colorful. Perfect for artistic stuff, too!
Better prompt-following, though it works best with cleaner, more precise prompts.
The model is more stable now, meaning fewer unwanted side effects and smoother performance.
The percentage of high-quality images is way higher than usual when you guide it right.
Feel free to experiment with different settings, but if you're aiming for realism, here are our recommendations:
Use DPM++ SDE Polyexponential (35-45 steps) or DPM++ 2M SDE Heun Polyexponential (45-55 steps) for the best results.
CFG works well between 5-9, but for consistency, we suggest staying around 6-8.
You can fine-tune with ClipSkip 1 or 2 depending on your approach.
For top-notch face and hand detail, using a detailer is highly recommended.
Pro tip: Don't overload your positive or negative prompts—choose your words carefully. Also, be mindful of LoRA overuse or high weights.
P.S. As promised, our most advanced model, v6.0, is now available on our Patreon (link at the top). We encourage you to grab it and start creating the best images DCT and SDXL can offer right now! Plus, our Patreon members get exclusive access to the new Flux LoRAs we've designed just for you.
Stay tuned—we’re already hard at work on DCT v7.0 and more exciting Models and LoRAs!
Thanks for your support, and happy generating!

A great Model. Anatomy works absolute fine and the skinstructures are very realistic)
Is there also a 1.5 Version update planed?
The 1.5 Version is a sometimes a little "grainy" on my prompts (DPM++ 3M xxx Samplers used as recommended). Thank you for sharing your model.
Thank you. Yes, it's under my radar, just planning the best approach to it
@futureflix Sweet. I'm back to using SD1.5 until I get a new GPU, so I'd appreciate that since this checkpoint is aligned with my style.
@futureflix Thank you for the response and model-update. Tbh, i am still a fan of your first 1.0 sd1.5 version.
The 1.0 (SD1.5) Version is a masterpiece of imperfectness. Yes, it has some posing problems and sometimes it gets grainy, but it has this non conformist perfection like the (same named) Eileen Gray chair.
The V3 is .. good .. but for me it desperatly misses all this "speciality" from the 1.0. Is there a way back?
Many thanks for the update, i hope my feedback / critic is okay - as it is all for free and always a very personal viewpoint ..
1.42 is very great, thx for your hard work ^^ this is my new number on model :)
Thanks!
how does 2.0 compare to 1.42 ?
@mech4nimal DCT 2.0 boasts better color reproduction and more natural hand poses thanks to improved tracking.
