Leggy Lamb from the cartoon short Sheep Wrecked (1958), a Droopy cartoon where sheepherder Droopy protects his flock from a Southern wolf, is a minor gag character who appears briefly when the wolf tries to steal a sheep with a suction-cup arrow and accidentally pulls off part of her wool. She is an unnamed lamb in the original short, with “Leggy Lamb” being a later fan nickname based on the wolf’s joke about a “leg of lamb.” She is depicted as a female lamb suddenly shown in a more anthropomorphic form, with exposed legs, droopy ears, and remaining white wool around her body and head. She has no dialogue and no real story involvement beyond the quick visual gag, but later became an internet-recognized obscure cartoon character because of that brief transformation scene.
