Thanks for checking out my latest project! Specter was my first attempt at merging SDXL and my first time working with Pony tech. Version 2.0 is a complete re-do of the model, with the same basic goal: Making great 2d/2.5d images with some cartoon, anime, and comic book art elements. If you're new to my models, I aim to create a nice style of "out of the box", without needing to tweak the visuals with LoRA stacks and TIs. You certainly can add whatever you want, but I want to have a solid foundation that I love first and foremost. This merge is a result of dozens of attempts, X/Y/Z plots, and test runs. I hope you enjoy the images that this model creates as much as I do! As always, please share your results and let me know what you think!
All sample images were generated with no LoRA or TI. They do have Adetailer and Hires.fix turned on. Faces still generally look OK without Adetailer, but I recommend using it if possible. I use face_yolov8s.pt for most of my uploads. I'll post some additional samples with some of the other ingredients I usually add to give you an idea of what is possible.
My Usual Settings / Other Tested Options
Sampler -DPM++ 3M SDE Karras / Restart / Euler A / Try Stuff, probably works
Steps - 30--50 (30 for fast gens to test ideas, 50 for things I may save/post)
Resolution -896x1152, 832x1216 (or flip for landscape)
Hires.fix:
Upscaler - Ultramix_balanced, 4x_Ultrasharp
Steps - 15 or 20
Denoise -.3-.4
Upscale by - 1.5 - 2.0
VAE: SDXL VAE baked in!

I decided to make a new 2d/2.5d merge instead of adding on to the old framework of v1.0. This version combines some Eastern and Western styles, and is generally very bright, colorful and flexible.
