Pony Diffusion has a bad habit of generating very blurry/grainy background if you dont specify them in detail or use the right negatives, so I decided to create a background detailing lora that can improve backgrounds and scenery without messing with the subject too much. Other detailing loras already exist, but most of them focus on detailing the whole picture rather than just the background.
Description
Since some reviewers recommended improving crowd scenes I added some crowds to the dataset and I'm pleased with the result. If you feel the results are too realistic style, use "source_photorealisitc" in the negatives.

Great LoRA that can improve the total quality of generation. But it also affects the aesthetic, which is kind of annoying if you're obsessed with some particular style.
Hmm, I might have to retrain it with more styles in hopes that fixes it.
I've cranked this up to 1 and seen no change. Am I missing a trigger phrase?
Weird, are you using the right base model, it was trained on pony so it wont work well with regular SDXL? It should produce visible changes with no triggers, though sometimes it details the whole image and not just the background.
I'm using realDream_sdxlPony9, maybe it doesn't play nice?
@sarashinai I havent tested that model but if its pony it should work. What types of images is it having issues with?
@burnera679889 Other models seem to respond well to it, I suspect it was an edge case. It's a nice LORA, well done!
@sarashinai Bizzare, I wonder if that model was merged with something else besides pony? Merging pony with a base SDXL model might mess up LORA results.
@burnera679889 Might have been a combo of a less-responsive model and what I was prompting. I've been doing swathes of tests with multiple models and prompts so I can't remember what I was doing at the time.
@sarashinai A bit late, but realDream seems from personal experimentation to be a lot less responsive and wonky in regards to Pony loras than most other models. Many times it just does barely anything, other times it just breaks the images. And sometimes they work so much better. It´s very hit or miss.
