Robot Skin PONY 2.0 is here! I've taken a good look at the previous one and realized it was just not working the way I wanted it to. SO I reworked it with updated training data and new settings. While it isn't perfect, it is far better than the last version, imo.
The LORA is a little too strong still, so I recommend using it at around 0.5. It will now give you better skin tones, clothing on characters, and adapt to more styles.
Use the activation prompt "robotskin". Adding "android", "robot", etc. is not as important now as it was, but it can help. Using the prompt "robot skin" (with a space) does work more or less, but it doesn't look as good to me.

amazing model, as always, thank you! but am I correct in the assumption that its not the full equivalent of Robot Skin XL and is aimed to produce way less mechanical bodies, instead it makes them almost fully human?
That was one of my goals with this. Robot Skin XL works very well with Pony models already, and it can give a decent mix of more robot or more human looking characters. When I made the first Pony version, the model was very bad at doing human-looking characters. In fact, Pony models tend to have some good anime robot girl styles in them already. I wanted to make this one more universal like Robot Skin XL so it could do either. It does a much better job of more human looking robot bodies than the original Pony model, and can still do mechanical ones if you put in the prompts for it. If you like the XL version, it will still work well with most Pony models from what I've seen.
one of the worst lora's i have ever used. it is extremely strong but the effect is always weak, incomplete and a absolute pain to get showing up. Don't waste your time with this.
