Use this checkpoint and everything comes out like scribbled with charcoal. No LoRA and no keywords needed. Just prompt your image and enjoy the style. Very good at portraits, but also nice for everything else and it does respond to upscaling very very well :).
Of course avoid keywords like 'cinematic' and similar ones in your positive prompt part. If that is not possible, you can aid the style with words like 'thin lines', 'bold strokes' or even 'scribble' if you get something too photorealistic.
I recommend 'Euler(a)' as a first sampler to play around with this cp.
Description
This is the Scribbler base model. I prefer Euler(a), Euler and some DPM++ samplers with this checkpoint.

It seems very nice to me. I'm going to test it this evening ;-)
I hope, you enjoy it. If not, i am ears for improvement of course.
@SmaiLee Before starting (be careful it's long): I encourage you to create a version 2 which I will test with pleasure.
After quite a few tests: I'm having fun with it, even if I often tear my hair out because strange things happen with this checkpoint.
To the point where I thought it was version 1.5.
I will pass over the elongated heads that often happen to talk about the most recurring things:
The checkpoint:
Some subjects create a lot of backpack straps on the shoulders.
V-shaped features that extend from either side of a face toward the center to the bust.
The subjects do not appear or are replaced on a batch of 9 images by 3 other animals on more than 50% of the images (test with Griffon which gives a fox, a wolf, a raccoon).
If it's okay for people, we can have very different effects, for cities it's not that at all.
There are a lot of things that the checkpoint doesn't seem to understand, like "Snake", that one gave me a headache ha! Ha! Haaaaaa, kill me! ;-)
LoRa:
Some Lora don't seem to have any effects, others do but I'll have to look deeper because I haven't listed anything but some also tend to disrupt the image too much.
That said, I haven't finished testing LoRa on it.
I will test again later.
In the meantime, I've been able to do lots of cool, different things and even when it doesn't do what I asked, I have good surprises like with Unstable Diffusers nihilmania ;-)
There you go, good luck. I look forward to seeing your progress.

Hello,
at first thank you very much for your experiences and the well-founded criticism and suggestions for improvement. Not many dare this, but such comments like yours will lead to progress.
This checkpoint was trained on the SDXL base model and with unusual material so it clearly lacks understanding. It is my very first checkpoint, there is sooo much room for improvement. It was not planned first hand to release it, but after i played 2 evenings with it, i thought, people would have fun with it too.
Tbh, i don't had plans to expand the functionality because at the release time, SD3 was just around the corner. Now after the SD3 desaster i think, it is worth, working a bit more on Scribbler XL.
On my side i also had some strange things happen with single words or very very short prompts. I am already digging into this to avoid this behaviour in future on other trained stuff.
It is 100% that i am not in a position to create thousands of images to give this checkpoint a deeper understanding, that is beyond my abilities. On the other hand i don't want just take a good checkpoint like Albedobase and convert it to a Scribbler XL V2.
But i hear your voice and from now on it is deep in my mind whispering ..'ment...improvement...improvem..' and if there is a V2, you will get the first message :D
Thanks again for your time and your opinion :)
@SmaiLee Good morning,
I am for encouraging the efforts of people who take time (even though they probably don't have that much to do) and energy.
Testing a checkpoint is not tiring and it's easy, I benefit from the efforts of others, I find it normal to help and share my user experience if it can help a person like you to improve and continue creating. .. For us lazy ones ha ha
Some checkpoints are quick to test, normal when it's the creator's 10th. We have fewer surprises and we move quickly towards what we planned to do. With Scribble, it was an adventure, I want to discover what else he will do to me in terms of jokes ;-)
Ah, SD3... that bad joke. You have time to slowly improve Scribble XL before it becomes interesting to invest efforts on SD3, if it doesn't die like those between v1.5 and SDXL...
Scribble can become the Painter's Checkpoint of line drawing, perhaps by adding several degrees of qualities (it's up to you, it's your baby ;o)) ranging from rough style to finished "pro" style.

Courage, it's a good idea that deserves to be improved and that will create a good experience.
Okay, I have to spam the "+ add post" button again ^^;
This is a masterpiece of a model. Wow - stunning results with a lot of style.
Thank you a lot for the kind words. <3
its so amazing how many ways there are to make hand drawn styles :D
I wonder if we could use AI to invent "new sketching styles" never seen before? Either way , awesome model!
Thanks!!
Thank you for using it :)
This is beautiful!
I can't wait to draw boobs with it 😈
This is an original checkpoint, definitely worth the try
Thank you for the recommendation and thank you for the tip :)
exactly as advertised. thanks!
