The Amur leopard is a subspecies of leopard that is extremely endangered.

It lives in the cold regions of Far Eastern Russia and has fluffy, thick fur and a relatively large stature. (and one of the most elegant and handsome big cats🐆)

Somehow, in AI image generation, leopards tend to be mixed with tiger-like features - stripes, white ruff around the cheeks, white cheeks - and in the Amur leopard it is noticeable. Even Dall-e3 seems to have difficulty with the illustration style with deformations, and it seems that the Amur leopard can only be reproduced in photorealism.

Although imperfect, I wanted to reduce the mix and be able to adapt it to something other than just a photorealistic. Since the majority of the dataset is photographs, this may unintentionally cause photorealism.

    • for Pony v2.0

      Recommended weight is 1.0-1.4.

A black Amur leopard can be generated with the tag “melanistic”.

It functions more strongly and has improved removal of white sideburns, detailed fur rendering, and a pattern of spots on the face area.

Flexibility and stability are a little less.

Other information is almost the same as in v1.0.

    • for Pony v1.0

      Recommended weight is 1.0-1.2.

The “leopard” can be emphasized at 1.4 or lower to improve fidelity.

Eyes rendering is a bit unstable, so inpainting is recommended. (also, the teeth and fangs are unstable)

Add “cub” or “baby” to the negative if you want to make it look more like adults.

Adding “mane” to the negative will make it less tiger-like. You can also add “tiger” in the low weight, but it will often cancel out the features of the Amur leopard together.

The Amur leopard is also called the Far Eastern leopard because it lives in an area that straddles the border between the Russian Primorsky Territory, China, and North Korea.

Since modern times, due to habitat fragmentation, extermination, and overhunting for fur and Chinese medicine, the population had been rapidly declining, dropping to about 20~30 animals around the year 2000.

In zoos around the world, all individuals are bred and kept under studbook registration, and there are now more than 200 individuals, about twice as many as in the wild.

It is listed as “Critically Endangered (CR)” on the IUCN Red List, which evaluates the conservation status of species, the worst level of endangerment, but it is still not a well-known animal because it is rarely featured in the general public.

    Description

It functions more strongly and has improved removal of white cheek whiskers, detailed fur rendering, and an array pattern of spots on the face area. Flexibility and stability are a little less.

A black Amur leopard can be generated with the tag “melanistic”.
